Love the hat. What a lovely city however you pronounce it. The people got me. A large crowd and all seemingly "behaving" unlike the scrums we get LOL

Spanish people generally are top people in our view , proud of their heritage and community minded. I was told of story of when things were short on supermarket shelves during the pandemic , people weren't panicking buying but were sharing things out in the shop between each other without the need for staff intervention. Family orientation is important and respect for elders still evident. We could live here to be honest. Thanks very much for watching and commenting , it means a lot. Best wishes Helen and Martin

Clare thought we were watching an advert with the squirrel. Love Helen’s hat although it’s too thick for me - I don’t like having hot ears 😂 I wish we would celebrate Christmas through until Epiphany here. Or even better Candlemas, although that may be slightly too far 😂 I love the fact that you reference Christopher Columbus the explorer but also that Home Alone was directed by his name sake. Another good video! As a British/Spanish caravanner who's been living in Madrid for 40 years I know lots of the places you've visited in Spain and Portugal but am enjoying seeing them through your eyes. BTW, the population of Valladolid is much more than 48,000. It's a major city with almost 300,000 inhabitants.
