MOTORING MOTIVATIONS - 2017 JCW CLUBMAN - KRATOS EVOLUTION part 2 INTEROR

To know me is to love me! For those that know me, you know I have a flirty trendy flashy and a bit of a Boss get it done vibe. So, with that being said I like my MINIs to be en extension of my personality
I will be honest with you when I bought KRATOS I was in love with his power, performance and handling not so much his color. The exterior/Interior was bit too conservative for me. It wasn’t about what he was it was about he could become. My husband and I collaborated on what I envisioned and then we started finding parts and add-ons as seen in part 1 Exterior evolution
Interior wise - he finally feels like he matches the exterior vibe
I added a piano black cover on the doors to de-chrome that oval piece and on the glove box handle
I also added red carbon fiber accents throughout just enough to pop it without being too much (tak/Speedo and Nav) overhead speaker panel and doors. A red CF start button cover and black covers over the toggle switches
I had the red shifter paddles which at first did not like now I love them
We added black carbon fiber on the steering wheel, shifter, AC insert and center console and also the ring around the airbag.
I’ve the Craven Speed phone holder
I added the JCW Pro mats made specifically for the clubman.
And added the JCW PRo door inserts which light up
These pieces came from EBay US/UK, Amazon and other sources
We use Chemical Guys for Interior cleaning as well

Hey guys. I saw a few of your old videos a while back and really wanted to say thanks for the inspiration on the clubby. My 2017 Clubman JCW has been good to me. I was wondering, how are those floormats to clean? Are they cloth or more of a rubber? Also, how are those sway bars treating you? Mine has the adaptive suspension but always been curious for an upgrade in the future. 😀

These are a vinyl-rubber type material They are super easy to clean. I love them. Before these I had the cloth jcw pro mats that were for the f56 they weren’t an exact fit. So I was thrilled to find these specific for the f54. The NM sway bar/end links - wow I felt an instant difference in handling. Well worth the investment. I’ve had it on since purchase for about 3 hrs with No issues. Thanks for checking out our vids. Would love to see a pic of yours too or hear what you have done with mods. Christi

@@motoringmotivations2567 Apologies for the really late reply. I was curious where you got these floormats from? :) As for my current car. It is a 2017 JCW metallic silver (lighter silver) with red bonnet stripes and side stripes as well going across the all 4 badges with a red roof. Makes me think X-Wing from Star Wars at the moment. I was able to get Apple Carplay in my 2017 as I have the larger touch-screen radio with premium sound. There was a group on Facebook from the UK that allows you to "unlock" this by putting the 2018 software on the 2017 radio. On Facebook you can reach them at "BMW Tech Services". I have had that done for about a year without any issues in a year. It's even the new wireless standard and you don't even need to plug in your iphone over the USB! The bonus with going through these kind folks is that you can unlock Satellite radio if not already on your car as well. If you are an apple user it might be a good recommendation for you. There is also a number of other things they can do as well. Recently I also picked up the WeatherTech headlight protection films and am planning to put them on shortly. Always nice since these headlights cost so much for a stone nick! Other things I have been looking into is this swaybar. I have the upgraded 19" wheel package and super sticky tires but I feel like the car rolls around corners a more than of course the smaller mini's. Trying to get it a little more manageable on the road through basic stuff is what I would really love to do. Sometimes after-market things just seem to squeak or things you need to tune up a lot that's why I was asking about yours. I don't recall if you said your car has the adaptive suspension depending on the mode? I wasn't sure if you had that on yours with the bars. I would hope your enhancements would be even more evident this has been added between the two of them. :) Other items I have been interested in are the LED indicators shown on PetrolPed's channel below. Is there a switch for the MINI driving lights or are they tied in with high beams switch? (Btw, was there a second video to lights intro?) I have looked at non-Mini lights i.e. PIAA which have a separate switch.
