01:40 is a double lane in wynberg just under the railway bridge, for left and right - many times the people turning left don't realise that and they block the right turning lane.

The reason why they do what they do : people just allow it. Dont push them back, dont hoot at them at EVERY possible opportunity. If only MORE people will hoot at them, stand together and push them back/off/out, then they WILL start behaving. But, they know very well, people are too shit scared to do anything to/about them. Everybody (almost) just accept it. And swerve out for them, make a gap for them, drive around them. Just 2 days ago, me and 2 other cars cornered a Fortuner thatt drove like his ass, and i bet R1000 hes gonna think twice about doing it again. 😂

that toyota etios failed stop puzzles me though, do those cars not have ABS? the front wheels should not have locked up like that

That's odd... are south african cars fitted with better brakes... because every other video from other countries show lots of rear end collisions..
@nomad8026 ай бұрын
Think its cuz South Africans tend to drive manual cars. And getting a drivers license means to also learn and understand defensive driving as a default through book learning and test as well as field tests. All this in combination puts South Africans on a good standard. But just my observation and what ai got from it.

I was at the Maitland turn of-peak hour. Uber driver with a TRAFFIC COP behind him as they just drive down on the yellow line and pushes in front of everyone else. I thought the traffic cop was going to stop and fine the Uber driver but no go? Our taxpayer's money at work people!

More evidence that Cape Town have the worst drivers in the country. I say that as a born and bred Captoian. However, these incidents are universal across SA. This is not even what makes Cape Town drivers so bad.

Check Durban and Gauteng rather. Oja and people from Somerset west, Strand and Stellenbosch……omg

You take your life in your hands every time you are on the roads these days. No policing of these shit drivers. They do whatever they like and then show you signs and wonders when you hoot at them for nearly wrecking your vehicle. I blame our corrupted government and police. All behave like criminals and most of them are today.
