I'm back recording for y'all. went on a quick rip to Cherokee national Park and back and I almost wiped out on the way home. I was riding rear brake in a countersteering turn and rear wheel locked upped.

And I agree with selling the whole bike deal I’m not putting all my efforts into someone else’s build like I do my own. I fully agree with you there bro takes a lot of time and effort to learn n get right and someone new to the hobby definitely wouldn’t understand it

Good morning James beautiful ride along bro one of my builds has coster brakes had that happen to me I've been packing rear hub with Lucas tacky red grease works great it can handle the heat and about selling bikes to me you never get the money back because something always breaks with that cheap steal and they want it for free if you build or help them build their bike you are going to be there mechanic NOT ! I might ride a minaralli but it was fucked when I got it and if it wasn't for a lot of you guys explaining squash and cleaning up the ports greasing on a regular basis she wouldn't have 1500miles on her that's another thing I noticed with some of these young builders in my city don't want to do any research on how to fix it or the thing that really pisses me off not just motorized bicycles all bicycles in my town be Riding on the wrong side of the road they don't understand when they piss the man off he's gonna make laws for these bicycles ride safe brother ps them Goodyear inter tube works well for regular bicycle rims valve stems are to short for mag rims just barely sticks out lol

Thanks Mike 👍, appreciate your kind words. That's the exact grease I use bro the red"N" tacky, I repacked the bearings this winter. It seems after I greased the wheel the rear coaster brake became more grabby. I know I shouldn't be using that coaster brake still, it's just that rear wheel is super high quality with 11 gauge spokes.

@@JamesPicconethanks bro the one thing it's doing is not idling I think I need a bigger jet I ordered some jets and a new modified intake and I have a OKO carburetor 24mm for it going try it out it just doesn't like to run good if ur going slow but u was right it's a good motor I just need to learn how to tune it I guess 😂
@JamesPiccone
@JamesPiccone Жыл бұрын
@@davidprice5350 Make sure you're not using too big of a carburetor if it's not ported for it. Anything bigger than 19mm becomes very inefficient at atomizing fuel especially at idle. Think of this analogy, it's easier to blow out candles with your lips closer together than your mouth wide open🌬️

I counted maybe 19 to 20 car on the road what a beautiful place to ride the scenery is awesome. Now lets get down to business I need to know where to get that gas cap and holy sh#$%^ brother I glad you pull that off damn !!!!! close call are you running coaster brakes just wondering good save brother.
@JamesPiccone
@JamesPiccone Жыл бұрын
Thank you brother for the compliments.I bought that gas cap a long time ago. Just measure the old cap diameter around 32 ish mm & search that size gas cap. I don't know if I could even find it again if I tried. My rear brake is a coaster brake unfortunately. Man that was a close call. Only reason why I keep rocking that coaster brake is the that wheel is super high-quality with 11g spokes.

My 80cc stock china-doll does 24mph ...39 kph. hitting double that shows your skills bro It shakes bad at high rpm. Just finished the first gallon of 16 to 1. I'm going to try to lean the carb a bit by lowerring the needle I was going to start upgrading with an expansion chamber exhaust. is that a good place to start ? James someone in the chat last night was saying that the Goodyear inter tubes don't come self sealing they do someone done posted them
@JamesPiccone
@JamesPiccone Жыл бұрын
You're right, I found them but you're still better off getting the heavy duty inner tubes and adding your own slime if need be. Put it this way self-sealing inner tubes ain't as thick and slime don't do much. I've used slime for years and never needed it.
@mikemiller3303
@mikemiller3303 Жыл бұрын
@@JamesPiccone yes sir that's what I do add slime and usually that's what it does makes a mess or hard to patch I use throne busters tire liners
@JamesPiccone
@JamesPiccone Жыл бұрын
@@mikemiller3303 That's also a lot of extra weight to be adding, especially it being rotational weight. I've had slime mess up the Schrader valve where it gets the valve clogged up. They used to have & offer 60% thicker Goodyear inner tube but they only offer 30% heavy duty's now. I used to use slime all the time until I had better performance without it. But dude was right and I wrong.

Great build man! I use a Sturmey Archer front wheel that's got a nice drum brake and looks really cool as well. Living in New Hampshire is hiily and windy roads and the front drum brake I've found works best on motorized bikes.
