Downvoted for the inappropriate music. People want to hear the machine working not some shit tunes.
@StandaLTD8 жыл бұрын
We would be happy to let you hear the mechanism, but it is rather silent and smooth, nothing would be heard.:-) If you like mechanical sounds, once we have tried to do some by programming our controllers: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moDUh4h8d5qKmtE

Mike McRoberts instead of downvoting, upvote and ask him to post one without the shitty tunes

You know what it should be used for? And it was the reason I looked it up. It should be used as a surround on a brake light. So as you brake there is more light. It is how are pupils dialate and how humans can communicate before speech. Eye dialate is something we would react to. Convinced it would minimise accidents and traffic jams :-)

i was thinking it would make a nice window shade for a skylight :)
@briandavis41410 жыл бұрын
You guys do know that is just a simple motor hooked up to a simple Iris valve (It's design is simple! It works just like a pupil dilating), and then to a computer? Nothing beats mechanical, hearing, and senses tuning. . Ever see that part in "Tokyo Drift" where the chick tells the due with the computer that she doesn't need a computer to tell her how to drive (something like that).... . Try porting a 2-stroke cylinder with a machine, then match it up to a professional porter. The difference is one is a masterpiece of art done by hand! The other... machine made, with no soul put into it!

Very smart. What do you yourself use it for? Or is that a silly question? I'm not sure what you do for a living but if you do things like this in your spare time then perhaps you work for NASA.
