Motorized Turntable

This would be a cool way to learn about what kinds of motors can move what loads at what speeds. I remember a long topic of discussion at a project was how to have a motorized turntable support a car that was like 3x the weight of production cars and needed a huge cable to power everything. Turns out, just about no one made a table that could do that without making a ton of noise. After a brief discussion of the cost of making a custom table, the client decided that they didn't need that after all (and this was 2021, so there would be no live presentation).

Is there a way to integrate this in to motion control platforms like dragon frame?

It would be neat to see a DIY photogrammetry rig using Raspberry Pi cams in stereo.
