I think one reason of making it highest selling is its agressive marketing strategy and delearship response. When I booked creta SXO the overall waiting period was 12-15 weeks. I booked XUV 700 ax5 a week back then this. They arranged the creata in 4 weeks time. While for 700 it was still 15 to 18 weeks.

I'm using Seltos diesel facelift htx variant from nearly 6 months the suspension is soft enough and there was no fatigue on long trips too .

Yes I'm driving the latest facelift and about the suspension I'm satisfied nowhere it gave me an impression of hardness ,my close frnd used to have old seltos and it definitely had a stiffer suspension back then. Our car has imt manual transmission so in the city traffic it's so useful to not care about the clutch and gives around 14 to 16kmpl easily and on highways cruising is also smooth breaking is good but only thing I didn't like is the cabin noise above 80-90 kmph otherwise despite having a diesel engine it's silent. Most lovely thing would be the highway average I could even get upto 24.2 kmpl and that's insane for a big car like creta or seltos. Headlight throw could be better but not a deal breaker I would say and about that approach angle I personally have no discomfort .hope this helps

I Test drive creata , Grand Vitara, Kushaq , Honda elevate. I found elevate to be best value For money, 1) Very spacious as compared to creta. 2)It has very good suspension as compared to create. 3)Very nice engine and transmission you press throttle and you get power. 4)it gets better milege as compared to creata. Creata has very less leg room as compared to elecate creta only plus it has looks and fancy features which i dont mind.

Bro, the instrument cluster is still analog and looks absolutely outdated and shit. Elevate as a car is really nice (Obviously it's a Honda, so explanation needed) but it feels very outdated. They don't even offer panoramic sunroof. It's a car for the elderly. "Just gets the job done" type

Creta diesel - I don't know about other diesel car but to make BS 6 phase 2 modification it has made a major blunder in placement of Urea system .It has provided module dosing spray ( urea sensor) and pipe just below exhaust in centre without any protective cover .It's a fragile piece and is prone to breakage . Once any problem with urea system means you won't be able to drive and there is no way to disable it .Parts of Urea system are also not easily available . Only who have suffered can vouch for it

In my opinion if anyone is planning to purchase Creta, just for once look for Seltos. It provides better styling, premiumness, looks .. I personally prefer Creta over seltos. Creta looks good from outside but interiors are not that great. In the meantime seltos is a complete Package 😊

Agreed with you, Seltos is excellent alternative to Creta, packed with all features. Only thing to decide here is , Kia or Hyundai, whatever is preferable , can choose accordingly. Other than Seltos, there is no other good alternative to Creta in this segment. Creta is being sold over Seltos purely because of Hyundai brand and trust value, otherwise Seltos is slightly better option I feel.
