sir XUV 700 is not a suv it is a crossover.. well there is difference between SUV and Crossovers.. SUV are RWD with option of 4x4 and Crossovers are FWD with option of AWD.. people learn the difference when it are caught in Hill station like Manali on black ice where crossovers struggles and suv's are driven with ease.. also in sand and mud the Crossovers fail and Suvs cross every hurdle.. Scorpio N is a real Suv..

You never highlighted the critical things still missing in AX5. No folding mirrors, manual AC, no push button start, no cooled glove box, no soft touch even for driver armrest and even no TPMS ! At 5.52 you have shown safety features and also shown auto booster lamps. Pls do some research first - in 2024 AX5 Mahindra has quietly removed Auto booster lamps.

I can say after 1.5 years of ownership and 20k kms that this is car is in one word magnificent. I’ve driven 250kms at a stretch without a break and trust me all I did afterwards was go to the loo and a stop off tea and back on the wheel. This car beats all hands down

Disappointing motor octane!!! You should have highlighted what the variant misses out on rather than highlighting whats on offer. Only then people will get a better understanding of what variant to opt for. Most of the prospective buyers know what the top and low variant offers. Its the mid variants like these that causes confusion and it would make peoples life easier if the features missing in particular variants are deal breakers.

Buddy - what is the point of missing? If it was the top end then missing features come in - there is a higher variant at a higher price with all features that are needed. And what is different is bigger size - bigger engine. So some features won’t come at that price.

Mahindra took away auto booster head lights from AX5 in the 2024 iteration and introduced cruise control instead. Need to spend 3 lakh more to get some of these features. Also there is no telescopic steering even in AX7 which is 27 lakhs+, and one needs to opt for luxury AX7L version for this feature.

Going for Seltos just bcoz it has more features ain't an ideal point. Like small family, is a fair point coz XUV 700 is huge in size and stuffs. The spaciousness would probably be helpful during road trips and stuffs. If u want mileage(considering you're not living in Delhi) you can choose the Diesel. Completely your choice mate, but I think it'd be better if you test drive both the cars and see which one would be more suitable for you. If you do so, probably you can get an overall image of what those cars offer and if they satisfy what you want.

Only drawback is not provided automatic parking brake which is a major bummer. Manual hand brake looks very outdated. 30-40k company can charge extra and provide this feature.

People compare top end prices of creta, seltos, harrier, grand vitara with XUV. Truth is you need to spend 9lacs more in XUV for getting those features. AX5 is worth spend for engine & build which doesn’t serve purpose in city usage.
