@@shabiljohn1548 rear seats are quite comfortable for average sized 3 people but knee room is decent not that much comfortable for long journey and if you are looking for spacious rear seat experience between tigor and altroz so i would recommend you altroz because altroz more comfortable than tigor but if you want bigger boot than you can go with tigor but i strongly recommend you altroz over tigor.

Hi, I am a proud owner of Tata Tigor XZ+ Petrol since 2017 June and am amazed by its durability and performance. I had the best experience of traveling 2500 + km for my sons' wedding invitation distribution to my relatives and friends in a different part of Tamilnadu from Bangalore and with a lot of luggage, and gifts to my relatives, the boot space was very accommodating, I really felt happy on my decision 5 years back on this beautiful and worthy car. No regrets on any parameters as any other sedan costs almost double the cost with all the safety facilities and driving comfort. Love the feel of sturdiness and comfort on the steering wheel when driving. You never feel threatened at any u-turns or curves and in four days completed the distribution safely and with thanks to Tata motors for this wonderful beast to own and cherish happy moments. Long live TATA Motors and the recent models are mind-boggling and competition is in copycat mode to survive. Best wishes to all Tata vehicle owners, and drive safely.

How small terms of rear cabin space if we compare with Tata altroz

I have been using Tigor (XZA 2019 AMT model) since April 2019. I have done 19500 km as of today and will give my honest opion - applicable to only this variant Manufacturing defects: 1. My car had a leak which allowed water (while washing and during rains) to get into the boot space. Local dealer took a video of this and sent it to the higher office. This defect was reparied free of cost as the car was under warranty. However this should not have happened in the first place. 2. One day car did't start. Turned out the fuse had blown. They changed from 20amp to 30. It worked for some days only to fuse again 3. Finally a month ago, they changed the starter as vehicle was under AMC Pros: 1. Driving an AMT car has its own advantages - mileage is really good 2. Comfortable for 4 adults - wihout a doubt 3. AC is awesome Cons: 1. Does not have a rear wiper. 2. No autofolding mirrors. Due to heavy rains and 'too close' driving habits on Indian road necissiates that the above two points should be offered as stanadard on all variants. In fact, it should be made mandatory on all new cars 3. Cabin noise is a bit irritating. Tata needs to work on this Suggestions: 1. Buy this car - its value for money. 2. If you ane not used to driving an AMT vehicle, it takes under 20 minutes to get the desired 'pick up' from this car ( Most who drive AMT say, there is not enough power!) Tips to use AMT: 1. Use the manual option wherever you need quick pick-up - during planned overtaking. 2. When in Auto mode, swtich over to sports mode (just press the black button that beeps). Do this 2-3 seconds before you want to overtake 3. Press the accelarator gently down and withdraw with equal grace. Do this two or three time and watch the engine come into life! Belive me. This car is a pure joy to own and drive! Caution: When swtiching from Automatic mode to the manual mode, take care to reduce speed first if you are using lower gears Example: If you are on gear 5 or 4 in automode and like to reduce the speed to gear 2, make sure you bring the speed down to some extent firts and then swtich over to the manual mode If you do not reduce speed, Engine warning light appears and you have no option but to stop the car I hardly use the manual mode as I am now fully qualified to extract juices from the 1.2 3 liter engine! But for all those novice ownder, I wish TATA gives a 15 minute video demo of using AMT effectively Want to know the mileage in AMT? I get over 20km/lit (thanks to driving habits and I weigh 55 kgs) during solo driving in reasonable traffic conditions and between 16 - 17 in modest trafric and 9-11 during bumber to bumper chaotic traffic - the last one fortunately happens rarely. On days, when there is political or commercial 'bandhs' this car has returned a mileage of 24+. Unbelievable but true.

I own a tigor XZ+ petrol 2019 model. I get a mileage of 25kmpl with AC, 30kmpl without AC on Highway provided you maintain a speed of 80km in eco mode. City+highway with AC in eco mode not exceeding 80km gives you a mileage of 20km. City drive with eco mode gives you 15-16km. I have never tested mileage in city mode. Driving habits also matters in achieving mileage. Regarding build quality it's good. Till now no problem.

Maruti 800 ka blower to aur bekar tha. Maruti owners ne aaj tak 1 baar v complain nhi kia. You get what you pay for. For 7 lacs, you get a decent sedan.

I would recommend that you take a test drive to understand the engine's performance. I took one recently, and I felt that performance from the engine is good. I feel that performance has improved in the BS6 model of this car. I own a BS4 Tiago, and I could make out the difference very clearly. The BS6 Tigor definitely accelerates faster than my BS4 Tiago. Cabin noise has also been contained better than what it used to be earlier. Please don't fall for the reviews that are done by the reputed channels.

Almost all car now use 3 cylinder engine....but Tigor use cam stabilizers so u get good performance.....Amaze top speed is 140 kmph but u feel engine stress at 120 kmph instead of having 4 cylinder engine...but Tigor performance good at it's Price...it's a family car not sports or premium Sedan.....so buy TIGOR instead of hatchback.....value for money......Ford ...maruti.. Honda all models price above 9.5 lakh on road.....u save that 2 lakh......so TIGOR is good deal at end......

My review, I have had it for 11 months now and more than 9000 kms. But just to be clear it is my first car so cannot compare with other cars Mileage as per reading- City (15-16) Highways(19-20kmpl, I have a habit of driving consistently at 95-100kmph hence lower mileage. i have taken it 21-22 when driving regularly at 90). When tested with full tank method so you can subtract 1.5-2 from the above reading. The car will give more mileage as you drive more kms.Dont worry if it does not give good mileage in the beginning. Comfort- Suspension is good and focussed towards comfort, most of the people who sit in the backseat say it is spacious, but again all of them have been in small cars. I myself have never sat on the back Handling- I am inexperienced as I have not driven many cars, I think it is fine. Steering is good light at low speeds. At high speeds(100-110) it is stable, but again depends on highway condition. Acceleration is ok ok, I am not a very enthusiastic driver so not keen to overtake from slow speeds. I tend overtake only when my speed is already high. Also even th Boot Space- It is good and we have on an average filled stuff for people for 3-4 days, It fits comfortably, But yes with 4 people the performance decreases a bit, but nothing to be worried about. It happens with most small cars Interior- I think quality is good(not sure) but is not too attractive. I have sat in Balenos, amaze they have pleasing interiors. The music system is good. I dont have the model with the screen so cant say about it. I will say if you have the money go for the top of the range. Exterior- Personally I think the cars looks nice. The only car in its range that I liked better was Honda Amaze but then it was not within our budget. But again looks are subjective. Tata Service- I took the Car from Sab motors in Okhla industrial area. The salesperson Nitesh was a nice guy and called me up even after buying the car, also if I had an issue I called him up and he got the work done even if it was not related to him. Otherwise there are salespersons who sell and forget. I have had 2 services and I was satisfied with the particular service stations experience. Tata also calls you regularly in the first 6 months for your experience. My experience rating- Honestly I am quite satisfied with it. I dont have any complains

One thing, Tata should be more dependable in it's after sale service section. That's the main point of concern. Otherwise, as far as the current engineering is concerned, Tata cars are simply fantastic in their riding dynamics and engine supremacy. The dismal after sale service really hurts. Hoping for better thoughts from Tata end in this regard....

One major point what i observed when i drove both tigor and tiago..this might give clarity to ppl whos confused between these cars...The body roll factor is super high on Tigor than Tiago...that means on high speeds Tigor is a freak,coz of good sedan length base and Aerodynamics...when i drove Tiago i see huge difference that Tiago roll is not good and i was feeling less confident...hope this helps.
