MG isn't even amongst top 10 Automotive companies, in UK and few other places it's reliability is bad...best not to purchase something like that. The only thing which impressed people is the brand ambassador Benedict lol. Stick to established and time tested renowned brands like Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Suzuki, Ford and Tata!! Tata Harrier anytime in this case.

Both vehicles are good at their point ..Hector will give you feel like mpv....lower ground clearance may affect the ride...but harrier will give you a proper suv feel by both looks and handling..... just harrier needs an addition of sun roof,not much but few connectivity features, and good alloy wheels... at least 18 inches of diamond cut... sorry for such a big comment 😁😁..

I bought Harrier in March, the vehicle is replica of Discovery Sport, The vehicle is mind blowing, have done 10K Km on the vehicle and done few long drives. The vehicle has all the safety features including roll over mitigation (from JLR). the vehicle is very very safe. The seats feel like sofa seats. It gives me a milage of 11-12kmpl in Mumbai - Bumper to bumper traffic. The servicing of Tata has improved a lot and they take great care for Harrier Customers.There are multiple modes like Rough,City and wet mode- very very useful for Indian roads. have used all of them and they work beautifully.Due to roll over mitigation I didn't 100KM at Hilly roads and Ghats.

Booked harrier after driving both. Harrier is better when it comes to handling, comfort, capability, practicality and stability. Harrier is such a joy to drive. Also, harrier's rear seat is wider and bigger which offers more comfort. Hector loses out on every driving aspect. I can live without sunroof and that tablet, but i can't handle scorpio like body roll in hector. Handling is my priority. Harrier termesto gold. Beast coming soon

I was little apprehensive before watching this video as I am a Harrier owner & you see all the negative comments post Hector's arrival, but this review made me feel real proud once again. I took the Hector out on the road to check it's capability, but honestly it's not the same when you compare it with HARRIER. Yes the Harrier misses out on quite some features but one thing is for sure it certainly has a very strong & commanding position on road & gives you that SUPERIOR feeling which cannot be described in words. Kudos.

i have test driven both 1)driving is good for harrier. 2)if you have a driver you can think of hector because a few gimmicks are there like sunroof ,huge screen ,recline seat (all useless) because sunroof is mostly never used and it compromise with strength....if you remember incident of advertisement board falling on vehicles in a traffic signal in pune, you bought a suv not a laptop, recline seats maybe tata can provide if you request them.

Very good choice. I have driven both cars and frankly harrier feels a segment above . Dynamics, handling, ride quality, proportionate exterior design are top class👌. Nvh is also good on par with compass. Landrover dna is evident in its dynamics. Superb review also included all points i thought off.

Actually harrier has more stability(nd dynamics) features than mg which is evident while driving harrier. So in my view harrier is not only great mechanical package also vfm for its loads of stability and safety fetaures, dynamics,and ride quality

I too got a Hexa XTA but it's a piece of shit. Gearbox has problems since 2.5k km and Tata's after sales ensured I think a lot before going for them again. Getting Seltos diesel auto now.

Its good to see that you included horn tone in review, I think it does matter to some people and I believe the horn should definitely match the character of car. Hector may have all those gimmicks and features but nothing can give the engineering finesse of Land rover platform that harrier is able to give, with upcoming sunroof and auto transmission option, I only whish tata used 170 bhp version of engine.

A bit confused about MG Hector & Harrier. My running is usually outstation like from Mumbai to Karnataka OR Mumbai to Kerala with my family of 5. & dat too like once a year sort of thing. My city travel is less, may b like 100kms a week or may be less. So, should I go for the hector petrol or with the Harriet diesel. Please guide. Or should I wait for Harrier petrol? Need ur guidance.

Go for creta as MG and kia are new companies and so poor service network Tata is in market for long but as per review of many can't comment on its service do Hyundai might do the work for you in case of breakdown consider it if you want
