As a magnite owner, obviously i will put plus points as below. ( base to base comparison) 1. Magnite has more length, so obviuosly more leg room in the back seat. More confortable seating position with laid back seat more wider also. It also has very small bump in middle, so more comfortable for 3 adults. 2. Power windows in rare seats, and seperate cabin lights for rare passengers, adjustable head rests, So pt#1 and pt#2 definetely makes magnite much better for person sitting in the rare seat. I take this as very big plus point for a family car in budget and person sitting in rare seat does not feel totally ignored feeling like siting in the 20 year old car. 3. Apart from above, magnite has rare fogger and wiper(which is actually a very good feature, unless anyone has experienced it), better ground clearance, vanity mirror, better dashboard design and quality, much better looking rare profile, tilt stearing heights, 16 inch tyres, good looking wheel caps(if dont want to upgrade to alloys), flat boot, Roof rails, bumper skid plates for 3k extra, alloy wheels for 32k only(since wheel size is same, only need to change rims), definitely quite less body roll as has longer and wider wheelbase with less height. While punch has the main advantage of TATAs name and service network and new patentented tech of locking the wheel to get out of muddy places, while other advantage are only minor such as engine power and safety rating. If someone has booked magnite base variant at 4.99 lacs and just adds the music system and central locking, then at older on road price of 6.2 lacs one is getting a better car then even the 2nd top model of tata punch, apart from some area mentioned above. Almost 2 lacs of difference.

I have chosen PUNCH compared to Magnite, Kiger, Nexon, 1) 5 Star security rating better than Nexon. 2) Good seating posture and commanding view for driver (Compared to Magnite,Kiger). 3) Good comfort and suspension for passengers .(Compared to Magnite,Kiger). 4) Attractive look. (That varies) 5) Good Mileage in this category . 6) Interior build quality is good (Compared to Magnite,Kiger). 7) Price is less compared to Nexon. 8) Pickup is good for usual needs.

Thanks to Nissan And Tata for raising the bar, but punch looks smaller than Magnite. If Nissan can increases Bhp of non turbo varient upto 85 I guess no one can beat magnite. Similarly Tata should bring turbo varient in punch ASAP then it will beat all small cars even swift and dzire. Maruti needs to work alot to offer better than Tata and Nissan in terms of price and VFM products.

Why didn't you compare the Turbo Magnite to Punch is baffling to me, since they are priced the same... Punch is supremely overpriced when we take into account that Magnite XV Turbo commands the same price as Punch Accomplished (also XV Premium Turbo is priced the same as Creative). Also, Magnite offers better features, better touchscreen, better space, better bootspace with 60:40 split. In terms of automatic gearbox, there's literally no comparison here. Magnite wins hands down with a premium of around 20k over the comparing Punch variants.

Yes, Tata has overpriced the Punch... It is smaller with lesser features but commands same price as Magnite which is bigger and more features. Tata service & dealership attitude is bad and fit & finish is lower than other brands. If u want better netwrok and service you can pick Kiger over Magnite... both are same car with features up and down... Kiger also has an AMT if some one wants a cheaper auto.

Magnite has better safety than punch in the turbo variants as it has ESP TRaction control and hill hold on top of a good 4 star crash rating. Kindly note Gncap is inferior to asean ncap as Gncap does not include crash prevention tech as a parameter. In summary Magnite turbo is safer than punch

XL NT is the best VFM variant of Magnite. I have got all the required features in 7.5 lacs. Using the car and driven around 5k kms and in love with the car. Features that I liked are : 1. All windows power function 2. Superb sound quality of company fitted music system. Haven't heard such good sound in most of the cars even of higher price 3. Space, boot space and leg room is plenty 4. VFM product. You will realise how much less you have paid and the features you get are in abundance 5. Steering controls 6. Mileage - getting 15-16kmpl with AC in city, so happy with it 7. Some said that NT will feel laggy and powerless, but it doesn't. You have to rev hard if the AC is on else it is more than sufficient. It depends on how you drive. Best product NISSAN MAGNITE. ❤️

Magnite has all the features but felt cheap and not great to drive. I felt like driving a small car. Punch has solid built quality but engine is poor and lacks features compared to pricing. Overall magnite turbo is better VFM if you consider 9-10 lakhs price range.

Punch will be one of the best selling car in the Indian market, hands down ! Magnite maybe good but after the Ford exit, foreign brands can't be trusted it's better to rely on an Indian global brand. Yes it may be over priced but the safety of the car speaks for itself, I had cancelled my Nissan Magnite XV booking and booked a Tata Punch, yes I may have compromised with some features but I'll be glad that I would own a Tata car 🚗

I really love your comprehensive videos.. Nobody give so much detail then your videos.. Hats off! One thing I would like to point is.. How much does the power to weight ratio give an edge to a car? From my personal experience.. I use to have a datsun go.. On paper both Swift and go are 1200 cc engines..but I found the go much more peppy and eager to drive than the swift. Hi Rachit . I am a big fan of motor octane and yours too. The way you elaborate about the cars and it's all around performance is really great. One thing to suggest is if u can explain more about the engine durability over the time like for example we all know how good is innova engine with which people have driven around 7L+ kms and still they find it butter smooth. Same way how can we decide about the engine of the cars which tends to get noisier with kms driven how long can they survive. If u can dig in and explain about these it will be really helpful.

i follow the content of motor octane very closely, and i am sorry to say i completely disagree with content maker here. Firstly i do not understand how magnite can even be categorized under an Compact SUV, with turbo option the car is not able to deliver 100BHP of power. Just providing high ground clearance is not an attribute to be called an compact SUV. Its still beyond my understanding why the reviewers still call it a n compact SUV. In my opinion Punch a wasted opportunity, just to compete with these so called compact SUVs in the like of magnite and kiger, Tata had to lunch an under powered bad aero dynamics (resulting in low mileage.) like Punch. I just hope they launch an turbo variant of it soon.

People complaining about Punch must understand that cars are made for people looking for their own specifics. Company has given choices for cars in every segment. If you don't like a particular car, don't buy it. It's that simple. I was looking forward to buy Nissan Magnite, but, I will Go for Tata Punch because it suits my specifics.

Just buy a Tractor then. What's the use of buying a car when both can move people from one place to another? The complains are justified, this car takes 18 Full seconds to reach 100 KMPh when it's empty, for a car of this generation. Even the Puny underwhelming non turbo Magnite takes maximum 16. Quick overtakes, hill drives with passengers are gonna be a problem

Punch is no where comparison to magnite , when u consider turbo magnite then punch stands no where with price and the safety features they offer. And regard comfort when punch has length less than magnite its quite obvious that the second row seats leg room space is less and won't enough .

I'm a very real costemer of Tata But I'm really surprised with ingine of all Tata cars ....later on they have lot of mechanical fault ingine noise cabin niose suspension .,..But otherhand forgings companies are owsom quality products provide in indian market. I think nisan is a good compact SUV than punch .,only build quality is not matter for driving a car main thing is ingine smooth ness of ingine Hope tata will work in ingine and service
