I was always in confusion whether to use right or left indicator to let others overtake my vehicle. Today I learnt the correct use of it.

Use left signal only in mountain for letting pass a car for overtake for 2 lane road only. This has cause many accident as people can take right turn. In J&K people use left more now. Never use these signal for obertake signal.

If you are dropping someone, it should be a designated parking area or stopping area. You just cannot stop willy nilly on a roadside where vehicles are not allowed to stop. Give a left turn signal to move from the road to the stopping area and while stopping you don't need any additional signal
