Wow. Great to see so much heat dissipation spots. Samsung Ram chip proves durable. The thermal paste on the camera is something that I did back in 2017 with my Micromax Yuphoria device during a DIY teardown. Great to see Motorola is focussing on active cooling of heat generating parts like the camera, power IC, Ram-SOC combo (with Cu plate) & too much graphite & copper tape. ✌🏻

The orientation looks more natural when phone it's upwards but i prefer landscape as it's mor immersive when watching so keep it landscape. I love watching your disassembly and teardowns! 🤩

hi, you gave 2/2 points for the availability of exchange parts. I have a broken screen on my edge 30 ultra. my father-in-law put a soldering iron on it :( I also dropped the device without the case 2 weeks ago and now it has a crack on the back. Unfortunately, nobody here in Germany can fix it for me. Everyone says there are no parts available from the dealer. Online I can't find any spare parts either. Always only for the edge 30 pro but not for the ultra. Do you perhaps have an idea, a tip where I can get spare parts from so that someone who has an idea can repair the device for me?

Mate. Edge 30 Pro is edge 30 ultra. In Asia it's called edge 30 Pro in Europe it's ultra

In India i could find vendors who sold the display idk about Germany, if u have access to Chinese websites u can try looking for the X30 pro display as it's the same and should work.

The ram is what you see after the copper plate is removed @4:28 in the video. The processor is underneath the ram so you can't see it, the ram is seated on top of the processor.

Hello... can you help me with something? I recently bought this phone and on day 2 i saw that the back camera cover is a bit wobbly and seems to be losened from one side as if you try to pick it up using edges of fingers the camera cover does rises a bit. Is this thing of a concern? Or its just a glue loosening issue because of heating while using the phone.... 🤞

Are you referring to the glass lens cover over the camera? It's held down with adhesive, so if it is loose, you may need to purchase a replacement or replacement adhesive to apply for it. My phone was getting heated and I wanted to know the location of the CPU chip so that I could install my DIY liquid cooler nearest to the chip's location. From you video I got to know that the Chip was located beside the camera. Am I right? Thanks for the Video BTW

Yes its a good phone. Tempered glass is up to you, but it would help keep the screen clean and scratch free for longer.

The battery has sda scl (i2c) communication with the mainboard. I have never seen this outside of iphones , iPhone implemented this to prevent repairs .

@@PBKreviews androids will lose value if they do this. The i2c is probably for battery health monitoring and checking with the bms about accurate voltage current and temperature of the cell.

Isn't it for the battery optimisation features, the moto does use the i2c but they haven't locked them down like how the iPhone has, as long as the battery is compatible it should work right

To anyone considering buying a Motorola. Don't. I bought the edge 30 ultra. We are still stuck on android 12. The phone is full of bugs and stability issues. There is no sign of an update that will resolve these issues. The customer care is useless. The camera is the most useless thing ever. What you see on paper and specs is not everything!
