Accidents happen. My xiaomi mi 6, never dropped on water but the volume buttons got stuck a couple time due to being close to water. Probably humidity. The last time this happed I had to remove the back and put the phone in rice for a week.

Just ordered my Edge Plus from Verizon a few minutes ago. It's currently only $799, so $33.33/month. Most of the cons really aren't a big deal to me. I'm excited for the battery life of this phone though, and its specs especially when comparing to the $1,400 Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. At that price, the Edge is nearly half the price for very similar specs. The things the Ultra does have an edge on (pun intended) are things I don't really care about. 8K video recording? Meh. Quad HD display? Meh. On a screen as small as a phone, it's not even noticeable. For me, the Edge really shines where it matters the most, and for significantly less to do so. Just my personal opinions. I just think the extra costs for the Samsung devices for gimmicks is not worth it. I'm coming from a Galaxy S9 that's finally really starting to show its age.

First impressions from an owner. Not bad at all! Narrower than my OnePlus 7 Pro, nearly the same length. 799.00 is the current price. Throw in $80.00 from Verizon Up rewards and this was had for $719.00. To get a phone with a 90 hz display, 12 gb ram, 256gb of storage and a relatively clean version of Android 10 for that price is pretty good in my opinion. If you are on Verizon and are able to take advantage of the current deal and aren’t tied to having a certain brand of phone, one could certainly do worse than this phone. The minor downside is the bloatware. But once you uninstall or disable what you don’t need, no different than any other phone that has been setup to one’s own preferences.

Charging times are very questionable, slow compared to others. Do you like the waterfall display? A fair amount of storage 256gb's with 12gigs of ram, that I like. Will the 📷's compete with the top 🐕's? In the past it's always been their achilles heal? I use Verizon so will I consider this phone? On the fence, I like the S20+ better but more 💰. Maybe?

Because we take that for granted? Most phone calls still relies on old, proven, technology from the 2G/3G era, so they all sound more or less the same. And the quality/availability of VoLTE is more dependent on the carrier than the device.

on top of the lack of essential features for a 1K$ phone like waterproofing and high ppi , the last time I remembered a flagship phone using 18w, 1% per minute charging speed was s10+ in best case youd get 1hr40min. usually up to 2 hrs of charging.

Good afternoon from New York. Motorola Edge+ is too expensive just to get in line with Samsung, iPhone, Google and One Plus. This phone should have an excellent cooling system for gaming and usage of the phone everyday. For that amount of money the case for the Motorola Edge+ should be thick, durable and have a great grip.

I just love it when Will tears apart a smartphone with that smile on his face lol. That "quirk" where the camera app upscales 8MP to 27MP for no good reason is a special kind of stupid. 1200 EUR in Europe for no 60fps video recording options, 8MP photos upscaled to 27MP and sub-400 dpi screen, no IP rating, 30% charge in 30 minutes? What are you smoking Moto? For that price I'd rather have an iPhone 11 Pro or the Xperia 1 II which has almost double the screen resolution and some special flagship camera hardware, not to mention a headphone jack. What people don't get is that the Motorola of 2020 isn't the Motorola they once knew. It's Lenovo wearing Motorola's logo and taking you for a ride. Time to wake up.

It's a weird thing. U.S. Verizon exclusive. In INDIA where at the time of its release, there was NO 5G, this phone came out. Folks in reviews harp like crazy on the Cameras. I guess so, but what are you shooting? And that there's no Media Tray expanding capability drives me out of my MIND. I know the regular edge will have it, but will be without that 5000 pwr battery!!! Which "complain", is slow to charge. Really? No other phone has 5000!!! NONE!! Sadly, with Verizon only, the Plus is loaded with BLOATWARE, Verizon's and Motorola's. And the regular edge, probably not being released until Fall, (it's supposed to be this Summer), is unlocked, so no dragging useless extra software. BUT, will you be able to use it on Verizon? Verizon will have and the Plus has BOTH forms of 5G technology. BUT, the regular edge, won't. It will have the more flexible 5G technology but NOT both. This is too annoying to say the least. Aggravating at best. Pony up and Blow that Grand. This is the best you're going to get for awhile. Because, really, where the HELL is 5G signal even? At a sports stadium, which is under Quarantine, still unavailable. And, hardly out in the cities they do have....Houston, Texas? PLEASE!!!
