Same here 😂 I got it for free. It's a really good phone, I've had it for about 3 months but I am about to buy the Razr just because I want a flip phone. In my opinion the Razr is just a flip version of the Moto g stylus 2024.

@@JhonDot-fm1ms I'm aware. I won't be taking it to the beach or doing anything extra with my phone I will also be putting a case with hinge protection on it so fingers crossed, insurance will be purchased as well 😅

Do you use this phone for drawing at all? (Hoping based on your name lol) If so, does it work well for stuff more advanced than writing "hello", like sketching? I'm mostly wondering about screen parallax (the gap between the top of the stylus and the image behind the screen glass) and whether the line starts to lag behind the pens position while drawing. I would be so grateful if you could let me know! Even though it's a stylus phone, reviewers never go into detail about the actual stylus function beyond a little scribble. Mid range devices are so overlooked. I know the screen is too small for real art but I just want to know if I can use this for quick inspo sketches without having to lug around a tablet or notebook. 😭

I have returned 2 Moto G Stylus 5 H 2024 phones. I am lucky if I get even 8 hours of use with the battery. I have no trouble with the stylus. In fact, what you demonstrated here is how my Samsung's Note 10 plus functions. Have not had this problem with any of the 3 phones I have used with my 3rd one received last night). For a fifth of the price this Moto G stylus is a much better phone. This video however, proves that the manufacturing of the phones is highly inconsistent with respect to how it performs. My previous Moto G Stylus 4G version 2022, the battery lasted forever, and I used it primarily as a hotspot and KZbin. But the 2024 model has been a huge disappointment from the battery alone. It charged to 100% within 20 minutes from 61%, but my previous two (returned) phone took much longer. The first phone took 4 hours to charge from 50% full! These phones are hit or miss. If this phone was getting 2 days, I would be real happy and not have a need to return it. I am on my 3rd phone, all from Best Buy. Have not even finished setting up the phone and went to sleep and 7 hours later it's down to 87%! It should be at least 95%, especially considering that I have not added a single app to the phone, except for one gmail account. Huge inconsistency in the new 2024 phone, but it's worth $250 that I paid if the battery life was getting at least a full 24 hours with using it intensively and it was without the issues you describe here or other issues. Maybe it's not the phone that's the problem but the incompatibility with Android 14 and the phone. Maybe it's Android's latest that is the culprit. Maybe Android 14 needs to be tweaked, because it IS the real reason why the phone is messing up and degrading the phone's battery and overall performance.

I've had many phones but I think this may be my favorite phone I've had it now for about 6 months and I just absolutely love it Motorola finally put out a really great phone that satisfies my needs I just hope they keep in the future stay in this direction

I always loved Moto phones. I wish they would make a high end flagship phone.

I like that they stay focused on the mid range. All the big companies with their flagships treat mid to low end phones as an afterthought. If I want a 1200$ phone there are a ton of the market but getting quality at 300$ is rare.

I liked some things about the Stylus but I had the Cricket model first and the data didn't work properly and then gave it a second chance with the Straight Talk version and while it was some better, it still had the same slow or non working data issue at times. It's a great phone but not having WiFi I need a phone where data is reliable. I wound up getting the Pixel 8a and I'm much happier.

Considering i got mine for less than $80 after trading in a clapped iphone 13 mini im happy with it. Its pretty decent for a mid level phone.

If you put the control center on modern display it will look more like iphone and you dont have to slide back and forth between the panels.

You must be using the wrong cable because it took me almost an hour to charge my stylus with a 24watt charger. Hmmm.

The only thing I hate about this phone is the horrible tones/sounds for your ringtones and notifications. It makes the phone super cheap.

I know right! I hate the fact you can't download a ringtone app from the Play Store and change them 🙄.

The 2023 version scored higher on the benchmarks. And I got mine for $90. Paying $250 for the 2024 was a waste. Only noticable difference is the stylus shape is more samsung-like. Few more options on the photos. Stick with the 2023 5G stylus.
