The graphene film or graphite sheet or I don't know which is the correct word, is it important for the battery to keep it stable or for heat management or is it both or is it for something different? And if it isn't on the phone, on any phone, if it was removed, will it impact the phone? No, I'm asking this because of a stubborn friend. Being stubborn saying "No, this black sheet that I removed from my phone isn't important" and he started having problems later on with the battery not being able to retain the power. Like some sort of drain or leak though the battery isn't actually leaking. Metaphorically speaking. Or could it be, the problem is something else? Something is generating a heat spot that is conflicting with the energy retention of the battery or maybe the battery wasn't properly connected to it's place? One thing I want to make clear is, the graphene film was indeed removed but he kept saying that that thing isn't important.

What u done with this phones after teardwan do uh sell it or give awey on Instagram?
@PBKreviews2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I usually put the phones up to sell as disassembled units to use the money for future videos. Most of the time it's listed on ebay.

So the middle frame is made from metal?
@PBKreviews2 жыл бұрын
Midframe is metal but has a thin plastic border. You can see where the metal ends and the black plastic begins once the phone is disassembled in the video.

1:54 - i cannot on my G200 get the mainboard off. It seems stuck at corner with his left thomb. It can wiggle. Any hints?
@PBKreviews Жыл бұрын
did you remove the screw holding down the board on the top by the front facing camera? if so, it should be able to be pulled out without too much effort.
@TheStuartstardust Жыл бұрын
@@PBKreviews yes I saw that - video is clear on that point 👌 but it is still hung up on something in that corner, I need way to much force, pcb is flexing. As stated it can wiggle, super weird when I can see in video how easy it is released 🤔
@PBKreviews Жыл бұрын
hmm not sure what it can be. Be careful not to bend the board to much and damage it. Try applying some gentle heat with a hair dryer, maybe they added some adhesive or something on the mic filter or under the camera.

Mi consulta seria, existe alguna manera de cambiar el sensor de huellas? Porque el mio despues de una caida calienta y no dura la bateria
@PBKreviews Жыл бұрын
Yes, but would require to also pry the screen off which poses a chance of damaging or breaking the working screen.

Wow. Great to see a world's 1st hotcake Snapdragon 8gen1 beast teardown. Enjoyed the chips that is Micron RAM over double stacked Samsung-Qualcomm made 8gen1 processor & probably a Micron ROM hiding under the shields... Great to see a heatpipe, good amount of thermal paste. Thanks PBK ✌🏻
@PBKreviews2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! But keep in mind this is the Moto G200/ Edge S30 not the Edge X30 so this phone has the snapdragon 888+ not the 8gen1 that the X30 will have. I will be doing the X30 teardown in a week or so.
