Yes! Great review. I've always been happy with Moto phones. Their solid, battery life is great and they have decent performance. I usually get a new one, every couple of years. I ordered this one so I can upgrade to 5g.

Appreciate the Moto love! Currently rocking an S21 on Verizon and a Moto G stylus (2020) on Metro and man no complaints, some haters are gonna hate but man that moto is definitely gonna be the go to on a long day and the S21 is almost dead and the Moto still has like 52% battery life. All preference on my end, both good devices.

GREAT review... love your vibe... One question. My last 3 phones have been AMOLED, how does this plain LCD compare to the vibrance of an AMOLED screen? Thanks!!
@TshakaArmstrong3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Scott! AMOLED is superior, generally speaking BUT I've had instances where I didn't care for how dark streaming video content from Netflix or Disney+ could be from shows which were dark like Daredevil or those with a lot of dark scenes like The Witcher.

Very nice video. I'd like to add that if you are going to buy this phone and you are on Verizon prepaid, you might have some trouble. I've been on Verizon prepaid for 8 years. I bought this Moto 5G Ace a month ago. I wanted to upgrade to the $75 unlimited plus plan with the 5G speed. Unfortunately, I ended up having to call Verizon wireless five times and going into the Verizon store five times because I wasn't able to get the 5G speed. After 2 weeks of not knowing what was going on, I spoke to customer service again over the weekend and the representative told me that the 5G SIM cards that the Verizon stores gave me in Los Angeles are not compatible. So customer service representative that sent me a 5G SIM card in the mail. Now it works great! Unbelievable fast speed.

Considering i put my phones into cases do you suggest going with a B-grade phone ? From what I understand any scratches can be very minimal.

Just wanted to thank you for your cool vid! I also wanted to ask if you have a video comparison with the Motorola One Ace 5G and Samsung Galaxy A71 5G (both 128GB and 6GB of RAM). Thanks a lot in advance!

Thanks Tshaka, the video review was very informative and very well done. I have a question on my new Motorola One 5G Ace, my service provider offers 5G service but I cannot find a setting on my phone where I can choose 5G, my phone shows up as LTE, I searched and searched and cannot find how to change the setting. Any help would be appreciated. Again thanks for the video.

I have the metro pcs version it has been 5g since I activated over phone. I am going to test wireless charging just because I have a power bank that has quick charge I tested all phones of mine and friends that wanted to add wireless . I works as long a you buy Qi (receiver) the usb charge port must be located at bottom of phone and sits directly in the middle after removing back plate plug the receiver directly in usb charge port then place the receiver to sit over battery the front part of receiver must face the front use small piece of electrical tape to hold receiver against battery without moving then with wireless charger turned on lay the phone on the wireless charger directly in middle of plate to show it is placed in charging position then carefully add back cover to your phone test again to make sure nothing moved out of place..I purchased my Motorola One 5g Ace in Sept 29,2022 It has been the first phone that did not need a battery replacement in 6 months the charge holds up for 29 48 hrs using my quick charge cable honestly it takes more hours to pass to get to 34% I was surprised to see that 99% was what my phone showed even better I don 't have to find someone to replace battery I can buy battery and do it myself .. It becomes a real problem when Phone Companies will not let you remove or replace battery

Thanks for the Video Review. I have a Verizon prepaid Moto g6 play with just 16GB of internal storage and I need more space. It has a removable; Simm and 128GB Micro SD card on the side. I took it out and put it back in last night. Walmart has the Verizon prepaid Motorola One 5G Ace for $199. I was hoping to swap the Simm and memory card and have my same number and plan. My plan is just $25 a month. When I asked at Walmart they did not know.

New subscriber. I bought this phone about two weeks ago. Can't seem to highlight and send video and picture texts at a high speed. Often what's highlighted doesn't show up in the chosen recipient's field to send. I have to repeat it sometimes several times. Is there a setting that I don't know about that can help with this issue?? 😭

ive had my iphone 6S for years now. its on its last stand. i dont care about all the little features of phones, i dont watch movies, shows or even play games on my phone. i barely go on youtube for more than 30mins on my phone. i just browse my apps like Telegram and use FB for marketplace, and a few other apps i need which id only need to go on for not longer than 2 minutes. i do however like to keep photos and videos. i dont update my iphone since i know those criminals screw your phone every time you do. i could care less about updates, id be fine with how the phone came as is (unless im uneducated on what updates really do). all i really care about is 1) long battery life 2) MORE than 64GB 3) would be nice to use ultra wide camera. 4) dont want to pay $1000 (or anything above 600 for that matter) i would intend on keeping this phone for at least 3-5 years (like i have with my previous 2 phones in the last 10 years of being an iphone owner) - i dont care about the 1 update only issue (unless my phone becomes completely unusable, idk the true potential of updates as i stated before) clearly you can tell i am not someone who is on my phone 24/7 or uses it for everything. i mainly use my laptop. (if you are wondering). if this phone can make my phone calls, open my simple apps, hold a lot of photos/vids, and not die on me within 3 years - would you guys suggest i buy this phone? Thank you in advance :)

This phone has gotten a lot of physical features right, but the software isn't remotely on par with what Samsung and Google offer. (Rather ridiculous that Android 10 is on this phone, especially when Motorola used to release phones with the latest Android OS) My biggest problem was the lack of actual water resistance when the Galaxy A42 and A52 have IP67 water resistance. It is still a decent phone just not for the full unlocked price. Various carriers have this phone around $200; but there's some differences in some models. The unlocked and T-mobile models (Metro PCS too) have 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of ram while other models have 64/4.
