I wanna thank you for being the only reviewer I've seen to actually address the change in IP rating. Other reviewers either just mention it in passing or ignore it altogether.

I'm so torn between this and the Flip. I think it's going to be the Razr. I want the front screen to stop be from being on apps but I also need it big enough for things like google maps.

If you can hold off a few days, my Flip review will be ready...

People usually trade phones every 2 to 3 years so six or seven years of operating system updates is worthless. Besides these snappy fast processors now are going to be slow in a couple of years compared to what's out then

Very true

The speed difference with phones in 2 or 3 years will only be an issue if you use the phone for heavy games or rendering graphics etc. For 99.9% of people high end phones & possibly mid range phones are more than fast enough. Its about other features now.

@@GalaxyCat001 if mid end phones are enough for most people who needs flagship phones then? Just a curious question that had always been bugging me.

For me, Ultrawide is more valuable. You can capture more of what you see in front of you without having to step back until you can get the view within frame. You'd think that a phone that is labelled "Ultra" would have an "Ultra" Wide camera. Just saying. It should be called, the Motorola Razr Almost Ultra. :P Still, I plan on getting one during the next big sale. I love the Peach and Green colours but they're a bit too much. I'm going to go for the two tone Blue. I have the Razr 40 (non ultra) in Cream as my secondary, non daily driver phone. Great little mid range phone. Not so great for photos in poor lighting conditions. But the snappiness of the apps, scrolling, switching etc is amazing. I also love Ready For aka Moto Connect. Awesome feature! I love how Motorola are innovating. They're making tech fun again. Same goes for Samsung. Unlike Apple who keep on churning out phones that look the same year after year after year after year. :( Sighh... Great video(s) by the way Alex! Keep them coming. ;)

@@rick_terscale1111 Thanks - glad you enjoyed, and of course, if ultrawide is more useful to you and what you photograph it’s of course going to be a better bet - as I noted in the video, the ideal (especially at this price) would be a triple lens setup, though that would create quite the camera bump on the “front” of the phone…

Loved your video, ive been wanting to buy for a while now and today is the day that I will, but I was insecure, thank you! (Im going to buy after this video) BUT im switching from iPhone, do you think the 3 years of android its gonna be a issue? Im used to """"unlimited""""" updates from apple

Nice review, nice channel. You gotta get yourself non-reflecting glasses

I need to work on my light source placement -- my specific glasses are... complicated in terms of their prescription, so they're not changing. Glad you liked the review though!

Great hair style (I have similar). Extremely nice review, liked it much. After this I'll buy one as I have decided never to have Samsung or iPhone (what really remains??) What worries me most is the battery life, 4000 mAh is not much, but We'll see. Greetings from Finland!

I've heard of and experienced quite a few bugs, with the new moto razr ultra 50. I love the phone, but the screens can be buggy and laggy, sometimes. It doesn't feel as smooth (software wise), as phones I've used in the past. I'm going to stick with it, but I'm a little disappointed.

Can you stretch out KZbin videos to eliminate the black sides of the screen like you can on my Galaxy S20? Thx
@AlexKidman5 ай бұрын
That's fairly standard on most Android phones -- though while what you're seeing appears "larger" you're typically seeing less of the actual image because it's cropping and/or warping the aspect ratio to expand out to that size.

The little subscribe on the side is strange. Are you seeking a specific aspect ratio?

What’s with the inside of the “a” of the “razr” logo being a different colour?

Totally hate the 50 ultra. Every time i take it out of my pocket the outside screen is on and trying to change or save settings. The main screen is so narrow that you dont see all text in certain media apps. Catch the skin on your hand nearly every time you open. Rapid charger provided is not adjustable, so phone battery is really hot during charging, cant be good for longevity. Its going!!

Qi2 - updated wireless charging standard that also supports magnetic attachment. There are chargers (kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3TUdGuDm7p7g6csi=So0G6bvJRFUdkYYa) but as yet no Qi2 android phones.
