Hello, I can't find any Motorola product 1690! Ca you please give more info about the 'pod' thing you used? Also, can more than 2 MU350Rs work together? Say a group of 20 people, if I get 20 of these, will all 20 be able to talk to each other? And, if I manage to get 20 matching 'pods', can we leave the actual walkie talkies 10 miles away and the pods will still pair up and work? Thank you.

+Sweet Cream You should be able to use 20 Mu350's as long as your all on the same channel. The "pod" is only for using the radios hands free so you can leave your radio strapped to the outside of your pack or your hip and just use the pod to activate the radios talk button. can't we use this radio just with vox property? I didn't understand why we need to use button for bluetooth? If we have a bluetooth headset why can't we use vox?

best explanation on how to use these things! Thank! they seem good! I purchased the motorola talkabout mt350r have not tested range but they have some cool features! I am unhappy with the advertising that they can charge from PC but they dont come with any PC charging chord you have to buy that separaately!

Do you have to use the bluetooth pod for the button or can you just use the button thats on the headset?

1) Will the supplied charger charge only the supplied motorola battery pack or it can also charge independent third party rechargeable batteries as well, when inserted in the radio? 2) Is the charger 2 pin or 3 pin? 3) Can you tell me the charger input and output details, like volt, watt, etc.? I am from India (220-240V) and so, will have to buy a step down voltage converter accordingly?

Unless you (or an immediate family member) pay for a GMRS radio license from the FCC, it's technically illegal to transmit using the high setting on any of the channels, and you can't use the channels above channel 14.
