In NYC they were $600 USD back then, you could take the phone to get the led's changed from that boring green, to an indigo / aqua blue, and that big antenna the same guy who would modify your lights would grind down that antenna to 1/3 it's size, then your phone was bad ass

I just got one mint condition off eBay 25 quid loved the phone back in 02 brought back memories and it's even better in 2023 so small light and a good talking piece collectable

I’m pretty sure that unknown buttons for a memo recorder based on the beep it made. Thing is, I could never figure out how to get the Memos to play after they were recorded.

Yes it is voice recorder. I had V3690 about 20 years ago. The recorded files could be found from the menus, I still have some of those files at the hard drive of my computer :-)
