What made you choose Ideegeniali above ZA?

Much cheaper, I get to switch on and off each board individually if I want to (which I will for SPEEDO & RPM). I don't get all the gadgets that ZA offers, but I know how to configure ideegeniali to do what I want to do. Plus, the aluminum overlays of the two 3 row dummies and PANP buttons are one single piece, which make the alignment on the dash flawless without any gap in between.😃

How long did it take for your dash to arrive when you ordered it?

A bit more than a month. However, since I ordered dashboard, electronics and overlays all from KRW, I wanted it to be shipped together to reduce the shipping costs. The dashboard and the overlays were in stock and would have arrived within a week after order, but KRW didn't have any ideegeniali electronics left and had to order that first. This took a while because ideegeniali just happened to be moving offices.

Great video, MotorScotti. And what a cute cat! What made you change your mind? Are you actually going to install this dash permanently in your car? Also, may I suggest you add some custom hvac vents to the dash to make your KITT replica much cooler and more comfortable to drive in the summer?

Danke für deinen Kommentar Sebastian. Ja die Passgenauigkeit ist bestimmt nicht perfekt. Erste Arbeiten daran haben aber gezeigt, dass es nicht sehr viel Aufwand benötigt, um es wirklich passend zu machen. Idealerweise hätte ich ein Dash von Knight Passions genommen, aber das war mir den Preis nicht wert. Das Dash wird vermutlich sowieso eine Spielkonsole und nie in meinem Auto landen, aber 🤫🤫! Zu den Overlays: Alu gefällt mir von der Optik und der Stabilität einfach besser.

I've already done one for the wiring of the electronics. As for the dash preparation and complete build: Yes, as I'm saying in this video it's gonna be done throughout the year but don't expect an update on this very soon.
