My son and myself picked up parts of that chassis a week later on a grid walk. The sad thing is the owner had only driven it twice.

First thing that sprang to mind, cold tires. Have to be so careful on those initial laps, while tires come up to temp. 🤘

Really sad to see this happen. Quick question that somebody may be able to help with. About 15 years ago I dropped a friend to collect his BMW from a garage down a country lane near Alcester in the Midlands. An Arrows A10 [or maybe A10B] was in the corner. It wasn't a show car, it was the real thing, complete with Megatron engine. Just wondered if this here was the same car... or if anyone knows who that car in the Midlands belonged to ?

What the heck, thats just... random? Cold tyres? Gear shift? Hopefully the damage isn't too costly to repair.

@@TheBlackEventorizon looks like a combination of cold tyres/turbo boost and I saw another comment on one of my other videos from someone who was also driving the circuit that day that he felt there was oil on-track. I don’t know definitively what caused this, but could be a combination of all three, pleased the driver was ok first and foremost 🙌

He clearly hit the brake instead of the clutch, locked up all four wheels instantly while going in the straight line right at the moment he went to change gear.

It was down to cold tyres and the car coming on to boost and to answer your 2nd question...a lot 😂
