Before the season started, I thought Hailie Deegan would improve with Thorsport and possibly win. Unfortunately, she has shown zero improvement so far compared to last year. We all want to see her succeed, but it's just not happening. Apparently she cares more about her KZbin channel than becoming a better race car driver.

I had high hopes for Hailey when she got her chance to run trucks. I’m not sure exactly what happened but it hasn’t worked for her in two different teams. Sometimes I think if she had spent as much time on improving her racing as she did on social media she would be a lot better.

I have held up for Hailey through thick and thin but I think it's time to move on. I know alot of wrecks are other people's fault but if they don't wreck her she wrecks herself. Seriously what on Earth happened to Deegan’s talent. I’ve followed her career for quite a while now and she’s continuously underperformed in trucks when she was actually good in ARCA. Only defense I can come up with is that maybe the weight of trucks she can’t handle well. Different story in Xfinity maybe but Idk anymore. Still hope she can pull it together and succeed but her time is unfortunately running out. Brian Deegan was one of my favorite moto x riders so naturally I’m also a Hailie Deegan fan lol. It’s hard to defend Hailie now it really is.

@@cryptoplasty1 if you actually look at her statistics this season has been an improvement. She finishes top 20 most of the time. Her average finish is only 3 spots behind Johnny Sauter’s average finish in that same truck the last time he drove a full season. She’s only in her 2nd full season and everyone expects her the be Kyle Larson or something. There are drivers in the truck series that are way worse than her that don’t get hate on at all and we all know the reason has nothing to do with her driving ability.

The more people publicly cope with her low-mid performance, the more hate she's going to get. There's more drivers better than her than worse, and most of the better ones get less attention than she does. No one think she's going to be Kyle Larson. She's not even as good as Cody Ware, but I guess you have to start somewhere.
