God I wish I could join the Motostorm Festival instead of being stuck in this rat race for the rest of my life. Racing dune buggies against dirt bikes, monster trucks, and rally cars in different parts of the world while partying on a aircraft carrier sounds like Heaven to me!

Id watch a movie where some boring office jockey tries to spice his life up by getting a ticket to the Motorstorm Festival off like eBay or something but is caught off guard finding out he accidentally just bought an entry to be a contestant instead. By the end of the movie he’s just as much of an adrenaline junky as the rest of the Motorstormers

The other odd thing about this is the Aircraft Carrier used by the festival crew. I have a decent amount of naval knowledge and I can tell that it's a Kuznetsov-Class Aircraft Carrier, which is strange because it's a Russian Aircraft Carrier. I just read it's wiki page and it says one of the rumors surrounding it is it was stolen one night while it was in drydock to save it from being scuttled as it was already decommissioned. I can tell it's a Kuznetsov-Class Aircraft Carrier because of the ski ramp and the circular helipads with lines pointing towards the ski ramp. It doesn't make sense that the organizers of the Motorstorm Festival got their hands on a Russian Aircraft carrier, but I also find it interesting that they used a Russian design instead of an American one.

Now if only game publishers weren't incompetent to know to bring their beloved classics forward that people ask for, that aren't just another COD or Battle Royale clone. Sony: Motor Storm Microsoft: Crimson Skies Capcom: DarkStakers and Rival Schools Konami: Bloody Roar because they acquired it when they ate Ubisoft Rockstar: Midnight Club All of these and more should be stolen out from under these companies noses legally via spiritual successors if said companies can't get their $#!+ together. However some may have gotten the message. Keep yelling on their streams, media pages, and other forms of social media. NEVER let them forget that WE did not FORGET!

Sony didn't make Motor Storm, they don't even make their own games. It was made by Evolution Studios.

Well if you're going to be that technical, most publishers don't, the point is that they pretty much owned the IP and make them happen. But if you want to go on about semantics of who actually made it, well, we can also go on about KOJIMA or any other famous fellow directing a game didn't make it either, or go on about the likes. Meanwhile... Evolution Studios had a parent company of SIE... Know who that was?... PlayStation Studios (formerly SCE Worldwide Studios and SIE Worldwide Studios) So yes, if you're going to go on about all who technically didn't make it, well by ownership I'll re phrase it for you, they had it put out, published, so on and so forth. Evolution was owned by SONY and then their boys went off to become the likes of Codemasters. I could go on about the history to make sure it's phrased just right for you, but I get the idea you'd rather me not rattle on about all that. We could further go on about how SONY doesn't make playstation under similar logic. But they own the brand, even came up with that, but feels kind of similar with how you're going on that they didn't make MotorStorm as if somehow they're people of who made what baby...

Unfortunately right now many publishers just care about “Money”. They only understand “Money” through micro transactions through their shitty games that aquire relatively low sales. What they need to realize is making good games makes good sales. It’s also quite unfortunate that Sony bought evolution just to lay them all of after giving them horrible deadlines. I don’t know the whole legality of making a new MotorStorm if not run by Sony, but MotorStorm does not deserve to get tossed into the trash by Sony.

There's some story where apparently they stormed a drydock where a decommissioned aircraft carrier was being held and was planned to be sunk or broken down for scrap. The authorities never went after them for it because it wasn't worth the time and money chasing an old carrier they were planning on getting rid of anyways.
