MotorTalk: McLaren 650S Spider vs MV Agusta F4 RR

The McLaren 650S accelerates from 0-100 in 3 seconds. Can a superbike beat that -- on a hot day on the oxygen-starved South African Highveld? We threw a MV Agusta F4 RR at it and stood back.

Well done, I own an MV F4 and it is not an easy bike to launch.

veteq101 Yes..I have the 312RR and they are certainly not the smoothest to launch and you have to be very careful not to grab a handful of throttles because you will be off or flipped.

Actually a litter bike will usually win on a racetrack too, modern bikes have similar corner speed to supercars and will completely outclass them when it cones to acceleration. The cars only advantage is under breaking before each corner.
