@@motorwayman Definitely Leicester Markfield. I mean despite the amenity building and forecourt being abandoned, Motorway Services Online (my favourite website) still classes it as a service area. It is still signposted despite them being years out of date by now. I do wonder how long it will last before the Travelodge there eventually closes. Interesting I live in Killamarsh which is right next door to Woodall services.

Honestly it's gotta be Leicester Markfield. Even though it's amenity building and forecourt are abandoned, Motorway Services Online (my favourite website) still classes it as a service station. I remember planning a trip around Leicester a few years ago and there being 3 service stations for me to visit: Leicester forest east, Leicester north and Leicester Markfield, sadly, the latter was closed when I got there so I have never visited Leicester Markfield when it was open
