These older cars are looking more attractive day by day.

That’s because they’re actual automobiles and not autonomous appliances / computers on wheels. They’re looking better by the day 🤟

I love these things, good little cars. The early L-Series diesel cars were the best of the bunch but these V6s were a close second. Though I did hear the modifications they had to make for the US market gave that engine some troubles which is a shame. I got 327k miles from mine!

Austin Maestro/Montego platform; lots of Honda hardware for small bits and pieces; BMW budget used for development

The 90s was such a high point for Austin-Rover group (or whatever they were called at that time) design. The OG Disco, Freelander and 95 Range Rover are all beautiful both inside and out.

The front looks like a ford escape of that era

i have one, a V6 2.5 gold version, not reliable? UNDERSTATEMENT. Everything is failing, rear window, central locking, air conditioner, radio, sunroof. ALL RUBBISH

I've never owned one, so I can't say anything about that. But that's the general consensus with all Land Rover and Range Rover models, even the new ones.

I have one Td4 2.0L from 2003. 219000 miles on it and still going strong, touch wood

True as long as you’re not sporting the td4 version. This one is rock solid.
