I got a 2011 about half a year ago and everyone criticized the "smiley face" Whatever, the styling grew on me and now I think it's one of the best looking cars on the road.

2020 here, the second gen mazda 3's aged incredibly well, way better than other comparable sedans and hatches from the era it was introduced, though their competitors slowly caught up over time near the end of the generation, I still think they could pass well as new cars if they introduced it today.

Just bought a 2011 2.5L, 5 door, MT with only 23k miles. It's got precise handling and the engine has a surprising amount of punch. The stereo is fantastic too. I love it!

I love the 5-door, but just can't get over the lack of rear leg room and the intrudingly-wide rear armrest.

I bought one of the first available in my area. No regrets. Car is better than I expected. Quality of manufacture and materials is holding up great. I plan on keeping this car for at least 10 years.

I had white one for 9 years with 103k, before someone crashed into it. Love it so much I had to buy another one, in gray with 55k. Zoom zoom.

I bought mine from new ...it is a great car ...the only issue i had was detoration of the dash after only 25000km always garaged and never parked it under the sun ...i believe it was a defect in the material they used to have a soft touch

Do they even make a true entry level one now? What appealed to me about the prior model, besides not looking so bulbous, is that they had one with no power windows, locks, and mirrors and dealers were selling them as equipped for 11-12 grand with optional AC. That is the 3 I would want, not all the power crap and 14 grand price.

The only problem I have with this car is that, is small in a way, the back passenger do have a little leg room but more room is needed for comfort….they should’ve made the car longer 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️other than that is a great sporty car, with a little zoom zoom to it‼️‼️

I hated the styling at 1st but I love it now..great cars in general, even better now that their not merged with ford. The things is the top of the line I feel is over priced, although they offer a ton more than a BORING civic and COROLLA, So it may be worth the additional money. Their a ton more fun and that is what car lack now a days!

I do feel they should make a automatic mazdaspeed 3, before everyone gets crazy, understand alot of people, like me love the mazda 3, but it's just to slow, I am in traffic everyday and a manual isnt worth it to me, the speed is.
