At 4:15 "That gives the Land Cruiser a rough terrain capability that few others have." Talk about understatement. A drunk driver hit and totalled my '97. Crazy part is, I drove my "totalled" cruiser home. Not only that, I barely felt the impact! Awesome vehicle! 6 years later I found a '92. Not the year or motor version I wanted, but I love it now too. Not only is it still the same indestructible vehicle I once had, the so-called bad motor is pretty much ironclad (literally) and the cloth interior isn't prone to the classic Toyota hard leather cracks. It's still perfect. Only problem I have now is constantly listening to my 13 year old daughter's plans for "her" truck... Yeah right, over my dead... Dammit!!!

These are one of the best vehicles ever made! Look good and aged very very well, are very comfortable, can go almost anywhere, but best of all is that they are nearly impossible to kill The Land Cruiser itself, the engine, trans, everything is EXTREMELY well made and thought out, and could easily be the most reliable, dependable, and long lasting vehicle ever made! I wish Toyota could make many of their 80s and 90s vehicles again as I’d buy a brand new 90s Toyota in a heartbeat Nothing, not even the new Toyotas (some are close though) are as well made and reliable as the Toyota’s a few decades back. And this, the Land Cruiser, was probably the best Toyota of the time A 90s Land Cruiser could very well be the best Toyota ever made Ps. Honorable mention goes to the old school original Toyota Land Cruiser, and that is another I wish were still made and they were absolute tanks!

Love my 1993 LC, still drive her on the daily. Have added a few mods over the years for off road use and Bluetooth, Apple Car play but engine is still stock and at 206k still pretty smooth.
