Beautiful and well equipped chase boat, something you may want to consider, God forbid, if you have a sick crew member and he/she’s contagious (example would be strep throat, to avoid causing the entire crew to become sick), you do have a place they can go and sleep/rest until you can get them offloaded to a medical facility or air bnb/hotel to recover, on land! I’m a cautious veteran pediatric nurse who’s always thinking of likely possibilities in reality and solutions to avoid widespread illness (and maybe a little/a lot of PTSD thanks to Covid-19)!

That boat is insane. The fact that the main battery switches are controlled by an actuated switch instead of manually turning them was a very cool. I liked the tow system as well, very good system to have when towing a very expensive tender.

I personally really like the Anvera 48. The explanation of the Tow Pro on the HCB was great, and Captain Paul was answering the questions about why you use 2 chase boats was done just as I was asking them in my head. Including why outboards vs inboard motors. The mechanisms to keep the boat steady and in place are awesome but how does the counter roll system work - thrusters or something else? Does using the 4 motors to "hover in place" while fishing burn much fuel?

I looked up the boat out of curiosity and the package of engines they got is the smallest one, lol. Apparently they do quint 450 Mercury as well 😯

The current offering is Quint 500 Mercs, or Quad 600 Mercs. The Quad 425 Yamahas do consume a lot less fuel, and for a Tender, the extra speed isn't worth the extra fuel.

I’m incredibly impressed with all of the incredible features, especially the gyroscope that would he me not get seasick. In the KZbin channel, NautiGuys, they went to a gyroscope manufacturer and they make huge ones for super yachts, but they are incredibly expensive!

Yeeeeessssa fishing episode, please! Got so excited when I saw the rods up in the rod holders, I had to comment before I was 2 minutes into this episode. Have seen a bunch of your vids but only heard fishing mentioned once really briefly (recent response from crew member in crew video). In my younger life, was a Capt of sportfishing charter vessels in Key West, so I know the kind of great fishing available to you in the Caribbean. Really enjoy all the vids (yes subscribed), they are so well done. Thank you. (Ps please get rid of that spam content in beginning of this video's comment section and the dozens of spam response posts. I blocked it but someone who doesn't know any better will undoubtably click the links in that junk)

Oxe Marine makes 300hp diesel outboards. Certainly that would be substantially easier logistically. More efficient and more powerful too. Get some sharrow props too. I bet you'll double your range and plane out faster too.

That was a treat a @motoryachtloon weekend! The Saturday Live, @CaptPaulClarke demonstrated the patience of a saint, waiting to rouse the crew on the Samsara (edit), did you guys get the 'apology beers' btw? Then the reversing was like a masterclass (sorry to gush!). Can't believe you'd put your anchor into the brand new HCB to set it, but I'd love to see that. And yesterday's review of the HCB was thorough, as we've come to expect, and what a beast it is. @Blair_vb did a fine job, with Captain Paul, answering all our random questions... It is interesting that Loon can't answer the differing needs of guests in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, with two different boats; boats that most of us can only aspire too, and Loon has 2! I hope you have a fantastic show, maybe somebody may now book a charter to Alaska, that would be amazing!

Hey Andrew, thank you for the amazing comment. Still no beers from Samsara unfortunately. Don’t worry we didn’t put the anchor in the HCB we lower it down and float on the surface with a lift bag (like giant balloon) then pull the chain out with the tender. Once the anchor is in place we deflate the lift bag and the anchor drops to the seabed. Thanks for watching 🛥️🥂

It's not advisable (not being negative)the batteries hate the cold and drain mega with ie, heating, aircon,lights etc. Also when you're stuck flat batteries (especially where you live!) The EV vehicles CANNOT BE TOAD WHAT EVER HAPPENS! (WARRANTY IS VOID) Getting a flat bed up there in snow? Have a laugh! Then there is Alley & Leo or maybe all three in there! They're too new and not proven on your torain lifestyle!!👍👌 Not safe!! Stick to the diesel, safe at half the cost! Regards, Ian, Yorkshire, uk (Tesla owner)😂😂
