I used to do some trials riding with the late, great, Don Smith he used to practice using 40 gallon drums on their sides un-staked the idea being if you can get over an unstable object something solid to drive the rear wheel into becomes fairly easy. He was good though, he used to ride over his garden gate which takes some doing without smashing it to bits

Reving the engine before the jump also helps to bring the nose down as your rear wheel has landed. Motocross riders use revs to adjust the angle of the bike in the air. Also the use rearbrake when they want to bring the nose down.

One of Colton Haakers video shows well how he uses the revs to bring the nose down as he clims a vertical wall.

If you find yourself vertical (or more) use your FRONT brake lightly try not to lock it because it's an advanced technique.the reaction can be violently overcompensating.

yep, just usling loops for the background music so youtube doesn't plaster ads over everything. i suspect the intro track was only 128kps or lower...
