Tip 1 - use a decent mic like MAONO AU400, cost around 500 , comes with trs to trrs. Tipe 2 - hide the mic in cheek padding , right or left depends on ur preference n then see the results 😊

Hi bro Facing issue with GoPro 8 black..many times voice is not getting recorded in videos..just all sounds vipes out..this problem happens when I use it with mic adapter and external mic.. otherwise no such issue.. checked mic and mic adapter with GoPro 7..it was fine..means hero 8 is the issue..how to fix pls suggest

if you record in 4K it will generally hang in preview if machine is not fast enough

I want to know how do you record? Because Quickcapture doesn't work with non powered mics, need to turn on camera and then start recording which is very frustrating on bike. Powered mic like the Boya Lapel mic have the battery compartment which is heavy and bulky and almost impossible to keep in helmet.

Bike par aur usb lagage charge karte wakth record karte raha karo aap. Battery change karne ki jarurat nai padegi. Mai 3 action cam mount karta hu aur sab me external power de deta hu. Bike k front me 4 usb aur piche 1 usb lagaye hai maine. Spiti ride k time cam on hi raha tha pure din. Per day 100GB ka data tha hero 5 se aur multiply by 9 days. Yes external drive me backup liya tha phone se otg k thru.

Hi there, I have a TRS mic for my go pro motovlog setup (using media mod), however, when I transfer the videos and play it on a Bluetooth headset, I only hear audio coming from the left side, I did some study and found out it's because of some mono channel jack input which is a by setting default in many cameras, how to fix it ? any settings to change in go pro for this ? I know how to rectify the audio in editing software but want to understand if any solution is there within camera settings also, look forward to your response :)

Hi bro even im having same with gopro 8. i mean sometimes its stereo and sometimes only coming from one side. Some say it is due to the poor quality mic. im using gopro mic adapter by the way. it is really frustrating gopro has not addressed any of the issues including the quick capture audio one by a firmware update. pathetic.

@@RoadTales well yes, I rendered and had scheduled 3-4 videos on youtube, after couple days a viewer highlighted this noise variation coming only from the left channel, I was like what 😭😭 ... I think it's a default error and could only be rectified during editing 😅
