Rob and Simon, thanks for another great insight from a great racer. Having only know of Rob as a team leader, it's so good to hear about another time when Formula One meant Bike racing too. Probably only Michael would be willing to race Joey in the wet, but obviously that will never happen. Just keeping it rubber side down on such a fast place at race pace is impressive. Stay safe.

I’ve still got pics from the 84 Swann series at Surfers Paradise international raceway when Rob raced against Wayne Gardner Mike Dowson and others. Mates and me used to flag marshal at the bike racing back in the day
