Expect a video of comparison of various taxes and other amount paid during purchase of cars(from sedan, hatch, mid size all suvs and mpvs) and the ways of saving amount, from the point of a buyer. Bcos, the extra(rto with gst, insurance with gst, etc) amounts to 25 to 40 ℅. What are the ways to save? Going for a sub 4 mtr etc? Going for a pre owned, how the tax is save when going for a pre owned etc?

Hector much better and value for money than Seltos. We have both Hector and Seltos in the family and the build quality, ride quality, engine power, noise insulation, cabin space, highway mile munching ability of Hector is way ahead of Seltos. Also, Hector feels more premium and is in another segment when compared with Seltos. Audio music sound quality (Infinity )in Hector is in another level when compared with Bose of Seltos.Hector anyday ❤

Main disadvantage of hector especially in Petrol is the engine being not sufficient for such a heavy car and the same thing costs fuel economy.. Since the naturally aspirated petrol or Turbo petrol is also not very efficient that makes a person who doesn't need much power or fuel but a good car definitely this is better than Seltos/Creta as it covers more things in a better way

@motorwagon think you for the informative video. I have a 2017 model Hyundai i20 Active SX Petrol and planning to change. I have aged parents and as pointed out in this video, they, especially my mother finds it difficult to get out of the car. While I am interested in buying Scorpio N Z8 Petrol because of being rear wheel drive for comfort, less tech for ease of maintenance and try something different whereas my better half is interested in Seltos / MG Hector Petrol saying everyone's buying it. But all are in the same range. Need your inputs.

MG Hector beats Seltos in all aspects other than mileage. You can't have a cake and eat too. For a bigger car, mileage will be lesser. As for power, Hector has enough and more power. First time I took for a ride I fell in love with a acceleration when turbo kicks in. For stop and go traffic it has ample power. Flat floor in the second row is especially helpful to comfortably seat three. I don't think any other car provides flat floor in second row. As for mileage it gives 7-8 in city stop and go traffic and 11 on highway. I have an Automatic.

@@shankaranud7766 The starting price of Hector and XUV700 is the same. Top end is 1.5 lakhs (if we eliminate the special edition). I feel XUV700 is looked at by more people than Hector. Lot of tech-focused people look at Hector, which is not that high. So that's why I feel comparing with XUV700 would've been better. I agree that this is a video to explore the idea of upgrading to the next segment. This video definitely did justice to that idea.
