I truly want to know how Les Twins and members of the Criminals Crew knew that Rubix had IT. There's a very high level of dedication required to have a style like Rubix's on an athletic level alone let alone on a creative level and a technical level. This is a very technically flawless performed illusion. With practice, when more and more complex muscle memory build up, a dancer starts to notice small details of movement patterns that with time and patience can take him to a new level of creating illusions. In this particular example, it may seem wierd, but he does not slam his knee onto the ground, he stretches up while "flying" and sweepingly but smoothly reaches out the floor with his knee and with the toe at he same time, effectively extinguishing the momentum of his body and creating the illusion of a "crash" using a perfectly isolated pattern, which takes years of practice and an extraordinary dexterity. Hard to explain, this is that type of move that you have to "feel" rather than "understand".
