Ewan's voice just gives me chills in this song for some reason. More than the others. Can someone translate the Spanish in this song?
@Specter19972 жыл бұрын
I know a little bit of Spanish, so: "And I love you so much, what am I going to do? You left me, you abandoned me My soul is gone from me, it has gone from my heart I have no desires to live on, since I couldn't convince you to not selling yourself out, Roxanne"

I remember listen it on repeat (to learn the lyrics but also because I love the song) two years ago when we study this in class. I come back to this song thanks to the fiddle in the song "Autumn" from the album Over of the singer and poet Peter Hammill. Peter Hammill is the singer from the group Van Der Graaf Generator. I exhort everyone to try to listen to them (it's known that it's difficult to access to their music, but normally, after three listenings, it's sounds very beautiful). Here some songs : "A House With No Door", "Refugees", "Childlike Faith in Childhood's End", "Killer". And "Time Heals" and "Betrayed" from the album Over. Edit : damn sorry i was learning english at the moment i wrote this comment, maybe exhort is not the best word, more like "i recommend" lol

Will drive you. Will drive you. Will drive you. Mad! Roxanne You don't have to put on that red light Walk the streets for money You don't care if it's wrong or if it is right Roxanne You don't have to wear that dress tonight Roxanne You don't have to sell your body to the night His eyes upon your face His hand upon your hand His lips caress your skin It's more than I can stand! Christian: Why does my heart cry? Tango dancer: Roxanne! (ect.) Christian: Feelings I can't fight! You're free to leave me but Just don't deceive me! ...and please believe me when I say I love you! You don't have to put on that red light! You don't have to wear that dress tonight Roxanne! You don't have to put on that red light Roxanne! You don't have to wear that dress tonight! Roxanne! Roxanne! Roxanne! Roxanne! Christian: Why does my heart cry? Feelings I can't fight! Roxanne! Roxanne! I love you! I love you! I love you! I love you!
