Now people from Angola and Kenya are saying they created kompa. Haiti has different styles of kompa. this is kompa kekal. there's also kompa melasse', kompa rousi, kompa direct, kompa troubadour, and kompa gouyad. all these kompa styles was mix together with some Haitian rara music, and that's how the zouk was created.😊
