منى أيوب سيدة أعمال لبنانية هي من الوجوه البارزة في المجتمع الفرنسي وضيفة شبه دائمة في مهرجان "كان" للأفلام. كوّنت ثروة من الإستثمار في العقارات والأسهم حيث تمتلك أكبر مجموعة للألبسة الجاهزة (Couture) في العالم. احتلّت العناوين الرئيسية في صحف الشائعات بعد طلاقها من زوجها رجل الأعمال السعودي لكنّها ردّت عليها في كتاب أصدرته في العام ٢٠٠٠ يحكي عن قصة زواجها تحت عنوان "الحقيقة: سيرة ذاتية" وأهدته لأولادها الذي أصبح من الكتب الأكثر مبيعًا في فرنسا خصوصًا وأنه قدم نظرة على مدى التطرف في القيود المفروضة على النساء في بعض الدول العربية. إلّا أنّ الصحف الأجنبية Associated Press و New York Times تحدّثت عن ثروتها وثرائها حتى قيل أنّها تبرّعت بالفستان الأغلى ثمنًا في العالم إلى متحف الموضة في باريس. إنسانيًا فقد حظي معهد بيت شباب للمعوقين في لبنان بدعمها.
تروي سلسلة "قصة لقاء" كواليس مجموعة من أكثر الحوارات إثارة للجدل، أجراها ريكاردو كرم مع شخصيات بارزة، وكانت حديث الناس لدى عرضها على الشاشة الصغيرة. ثلاثون حلقة يقصّ فيها ظروف تلك اللقاءات والمغامرات التي رافقتها ومقتطفات منها، تحييها مجدداً وتعيدها الى ذاكرة المشاهدين.
Mouna Ayoub, born in 1957 in Kuwait, is a well-known French socialite and businesswoman of Lebanese origin. Frequently in the media, she is often a guest of the Cannes film festival and makes headlines in French gossip magazines. Her rags to riches story, involving cross cultural tension and claimed "scandal", has been the subject of intense reportage. She has the largest private collection of haute couture in the world, encompassing more than 10,000 items. She wrote the book to explain her situation, and to address allegations published in the Middle East by a Lebanese magazine that she was a modern-day Madame Bovary. Her book, “La Vérité”, quickly became a best seller in France.
Ricardo Karam narrates in “Qissat Liqaa” the circumstances, adventures and behind the scenes of his most interesting encounters and talks. Extracts of those special interviews are showcased in 30 chapters as Ricardo brought his memories back to life.

I remember I was a young girl ( maybe 12 at the time) when I grab one of my mom's favorite magazines, vanidades and I read about this lady and her history, she was very young when she married ( she was 22 I think) and she recounted that she live inside a gold cage, that she was not allowed to get out alone, that often she wore her night gowns just to have dinner inside her own house with her children, because she was like a prisoner inside her own house and didn't have much to do, other than wear the dresses and jewelry she had, she was not allowed to drive and stuff that most women around the world do, some time pass by and she asked her then husband for divorce, they got divorced but the husband took everything from her, her children, money, just everything...and she said "I don't need your money! " And she left to new York, the thing that the husband didn't know was that she has her own secret fortune, all the million dollars worth jewelry he gave her through the years was her way out to a new life in America, she learned how to drive, and become a successful business woman. I admire this great woman since then, her history touched me at a very young age.
