Actually many shahabiyyah (muslimah in the time of prophet and companions) were sometimes be quiet but as well very energetic, depend on the occassion or the necessities. There was a muslimah who criticize Umar ibn Khattab as the Khalifah in front of EVERYONE in the masjid Nabawi. There was as well muslimah companion named Nussaibah bint Kaab who was so brave that she became one of the army in several wars. So we can be quiet and talkative depend on the occasion

Thank you for mentioning that the fabric is soft and there are ones that are good for summer weather. I am a Christian who is considering adopting some elements of Muslim dress because I want to show more respect for myself and God. However, after trying to wear long sleeves in July August weather, I had to throw off my jacket at one point because I was so hot and prickly, I got a panic attack! I exercise to keep my weight under control and but was wondering what to do about clothes because I have sensory issues--thinking I might be on the Autism spectrum--and I cannot stand tags, seams, or fabric that isn't flowy and soft. So feeling very grateful for your description of the abaya and this particular brand that has soft but opaque fabric. I am also tall too 5'10 and 1/2!! Glad you got a husband because I think most men are intimidated by me, it sucks. Wish I could hang out with some Muslim women so they could show me modesty tricks but I am already socially awkward and not sure who would want to hang out with "the Christian lady." But Muslim women's clothing looks so much more graceful than American women's turtlenecks and long denim skirts--that's what scared me away from trying to be more modest for a long time 😂😂 Anyway, I appreciate this content.

Yes, my husband loves my height, I barely hear men complain about women height… I think this whole concept of height insecurity comes from women instead of men 🧐 there are looots of men who don’t care and many who actually prefer a tall woman. ﷲ swt creates you in perfection so don’t worry about what you cannot even change. Try to go up to some Muslim sisters, trust me we don’t mind if you follow another religion 😂 also, try to get to know some sister via social media, it’s easier and not so socially challenging ❤️
