Thank you for watching. Good luck with your sleep. I might have other advice if it doesn't work. It was five years of me troubleshooting issues, but certainly, the Magnesium was the most significant and last change. There are different kinds so if you don't want the laxative effects of the Magnesium Citrate others might be better for you. www.health.com/condition/sleep/magnesium-for-sleep

What's your diet like?

Hello. I eat a whole protein meal in the morning (eggs, chicken, low-fat pork, protein shakes). For lunch, I have a mixed bag of protein (cottage cheese, yogurt, nuts with some carbs like popcorn, seed crackers from Trader Joe's, and Net Carb from Mission Tortilla. I throw in a pear or apple or bowl of blueberries. I try to eat light for dinner with a spring roll, avocado toast, eggs and toast, chicken sausage, or 3-4oz of meat. I try to eat food labels that read in everyday words that I can recognize. Mostly, I use dinner to fix my protein or fiber intake and do whatever is lacking in the day. I am sold on the Net Carb tortillas and Nature's Own Keto Brad from Costco. Next Week I will do an episode on what I eat. Thanks for asking!

I should have mentioned that I drink 80-100 oz of water daily to keep my stomach process healthy. I get 80 grams of protein and 25-30 grams of fiber a day. That works for me, as well as my size for stats. You might be very different. I also do not eat much vegetables. I try to get some carrots or spinach in but so far they have upset my stomach a bit.

@startwithsmallstepspodcast I'm definitely very different.. Although I eat similar.. I just eat twice a day.. Even though I have recently been delivering packages for UPS 12 to 14 hours a day.. 6 days a week.. I'm still rarely hungry.. And this is the first time ever that I can drink a gallon of water a day.. Not because I want to.. I'm just thirsty working this hard.. 20k steps a day.. Turns out that my body really did need the exercise to lose weight... 14 pounds in 9 weeks...

@@jorgecarrejo Congrats! That's amazing. I will tell you that I do. not exercise/walk enough. I stepped it up but not enough. That is the next goal I eat around 950-1100 calories a day. I weight lift 3x a week and am at a point in my life where I feel like I have to keep what muscle I have. I could eat a lot less but I talked to my trainer and my doctor and a nutrionist and asked what the bare minimum calories I need to eat to stay healthy. For me they said 1200. I find that amount hard to get but I know I could go much harder on this diet.
