I’ve watched tons of videos of people wheelin’ their rigs. Always the same: 99% dash cam and 1% still shots, or 90% dash cam and 10% shaky action shots. Your free motion gimbal made your dash view look incredible. And even better was your drone footage! I’m a Colorado native and I was looking for videos on this trail. Your video was great! Well done!

Had to back that shelf portion quite a bit due to a rock slide last year, not fun.

I'm pretty sure I noped out on this road at the obstical at about 8 min this winter (Nov? Dec? Jan?) In the dark in my stock xterra p4x. Just didn't wanna risk it in about 2 in of snow (not much ice actually) alone (other than a backpacker I passed who was going up this road) at like 6pm. Def going back to do this trail w/o snow and maybe a spotter.

Yeah I tried to do this trail in the snow once its really sketchy in the snow. I would defiantly recommend running it with no snow.

@@Endless.Adventures haven't checked in a few months but I reported it to the forest service around the time that this vid was posted, last time I saw it was just the body engine, everything else was gone. It's just below the top of that little offshoot if you wanna go check it out.

I see these videos and I’d LOVE to do them. So I get on google maps and can’t find Mount Baldy anywhere near the Springs. There’s a bald mountain near Breckinridge. Is that it?

www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/391-mount-baldy Thats the link for the trail. Its not in Breckinridge its off of Old Stage Road. Old Stage Road starts by the Broadmoor Hotel, or you can enter the other side by Victor. This trail to mount baldy is off of trail number 379 on Old Stage Road.

I think technically called Almagre. There is Almagre peak and South Almagre. Could be mistaken, but I always called it Baldy being local.

It’s just south of Pikes Peak, and has a true “bald” top to it. If you’re in Springs, just look left of Pikes Peak, and the next largest mountain is Mt. Baldy. South of it you can see the next mountain has antennas for Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD).
