I waited till I had 1 mil saved up then found it was plenty to fund my war efforts. Most peace treaties are 300k or less. Most battles can pay you upward 100k. So don’t be scared to load up on tier 5&6 troops and hold lots of horses in your inventory. I recommend going after the Aserai first. They drop lots of expensive loot and horses

Missed a warning with chopping down the gates. This can be risky with a well defended castle, where they will likely have someone throwing down rocks on you or even shooting down with bows and crossbows. Its those rocks that are the most deadly, if defending you'll find they can take out many attackers.

1. Becoming king of an existing kingdom is extremely simple it just takes some time. As a vassal you will have the opportunity to vote on kingdom decisions, every vote will earn you friendship with the other clan leaders. By the time the king dies all the other clan leaders will love you and vote you king. 2. Leading armies and winning battles will earn a mountain of money and influence. 3. When you are king try to minutes the wars your kingdom is in. Then the other clans will focus their armies and gain a lot more territory than when they’re all spread out. 4. After a long war with another kingdom they will eventually be unable to field armies due to lack of influence. The trick to winning wars is to outlast the opponent. Agreeing to a peace deal will just allow them to rebuild armies. 5. Playing catch and release with enemy lords is extremely useful towards the end of a war. By releasing the enemy lords you quickly gain their friendship, every lord released gains relations with their clan, meaning defeating an army and releasing all the lords in it can earn large amounts of relations. 6. If you are king you can then corner the clan leaders, usually by chasing them into castles and towns. Before starting a siege you have the option to approach the gates and talk to lords inside, talk to the clan leaders and if you’re friendly with them (at least +50 relations) then there’s a good chance you can get their whole clan to join your kingdom with fiefs and all. 7. By getting more clans to join your kingdom all wars become easier, late game if you have recruited a couple of clans from each kingdom, you will have many armies roaming the world and it just becomes a tidal wave of victory.

Just took my first rebel town with 120 men. Buy all the food in the town to starve the garrison. If your short on money, smithing is the ultimate skill. just craft and sell. Mid level items will net 2 to 3k. I'm currently selling polearms from 6 to 18k each.

When he said buying a castle or town id definitely say is the safest way but that only works if you're doing a trader playthrough, well at leat at the start and second the best way to take a town would be to take the nearest castle first because of the peasants trade but also troop recruitment and assuming you have at least 3 parties then id go for a city. But tbh it's so much work early on i just join a faction

just saying you clearly dont consider money a issue as you sign those policy , but without cheesy smithing that breaks arugably one of the key features of the game and thus lowering difficulty significantly, i wouldn't recommand dropping your town income almost 20% with all the policy you recommended. that dirrectly translate to you being able to field less units, recruit less lords, negoetie less peaces and ultimately destruction of your kingdom. i honestly think without smithing the difficulty of the game went up at least 50% as in from normal to bannerlord. infact i often pick the royal tax or sth like that just to get the extra income from my lords, thats how much it matters, and i only pick the tribune of the people and neglect all others, its usually enough to keep your towns from rebelling given good management.

i've tried the no smith run, or just did it for extra attributes points and smelt the shit i've created. It's only kinda hard in the beginning to get initial capital, after that it's easy. After each battle i have so much loot that i cant sell it fast enough. Late game is constant wars/sieges/battles ets. Like i've beat army 1400 in size, and like few armors/helmets dropped and i sold them all for more than 80 grands. This is even w/o leveling out rogue skilltree that will buff that.
@denial544 ай бұрын
@@rogerwilco220 i will share my experience as a example, maybe you can tell me where i did wrong. i waited until i had 2 million to start my kingdom. making peace took 150k, and then i spend about 800k recruiting 4 clans into my kingdom, which i had like about 40-50 relation with. this drops me to 1million. after which kingdoms start declaring war on my still relatively weak kkingdom, forcing me to start making a large army. i had 4 companion partyes ,each 100+ man strong and taking about 800 gold. my main personal army is 300 strong top tiers so that costs 5000+ , the garrisons in the keep and city mostly breaks even with earning from fief so i dont earn any from that. i had 4 caravans and 4 workshops earning a total of about 2k. so that leaves me to a daily deficeit of about 6k. like you i sell battle loot, but i d say a 100 man party will probably give you about 20k worth of loot , assuming no one shares it . i can keep afloat if i can in theory catch at least a party every 3 days. which isnt that hard to do in paper, but firstly in peace time you still have to pay ur army , and secondly remember it still take like 200k to recruit a clan. i know companion clan are cheaper but also weaker too. in the play thorugh i had valandia and kusait are already kinda large with 20 fiefs, so i had to deal with large enemy armys on the regular. and smaller army are relatively hard to catch bc most have joined their main army. that and the fact that i cant keep catching those smaller armys and left their main army to do dmg to my kingdom. this means a significant amount of time of mine is spent in siege or searching and chasing their main army, its only after i defeat their main army do i get to do the profit part. during battle against the main army i also have to give up most loot to my other clans. so like money is definitely still a issue . so pray tell, what am i missing?

@@denial54 in that case i will completely remove the garrisons leaving only militia. If a big army will come to siege ur castle or city the militia is the answer, garrison will delay the attack bc sometimes ai just wait and starve it. And location is also matters, if your kindom is located on the borders with the others u get a lot of war declarations. When i play as a sturgia clan/kindom to get rid of vlandia declaring a war on me every 10 min i had to get rid of nevyansk castle. I just started war with battania and let them take it. And helped sturgia to take epictotea (diplomacy mod/alliance with them) so empire would also dont bother me. With that being done i can finally deal with battania etc. And only when i was stronger i started inviting other clans. Giving them castles, and leaving cities for myself for time being.

Yeah most people already said it here but crying about smithing is just stupid. It’s ridiculous how many lords, prisoners, gear and horses you constantly get while being at war you make stupid amounts of money anyway. Smithing only helps for clan tier 1-3 which you still have to put in the time and grind out the gear. BESIDES it’s a single player game. Crying about how someone else makes money is hilarious 😂😂😂

In my opinion, you've got Medicine and Stewardship the wrong way round. It's always better to have a companion, or even better a sibling/child max out Stewardship because there are no perks in the tree that are specific to your own character. With Medicine, maxing that out gets you the strongest single perk in the game, Minister of Health, giving your troops a whopping 80 extra HP if you get the skill to 330. But it only works if you yourself are the surgeon since it's a Personal perk rather than a Surgeon perk. Meaning if you're going to choose, either do none, go for a different build entirely and have a companion/family member do both, or just take Medicine and put the other focus points somewhere else. But if you're going to max out medicine, you're going to have 10 Intelligence, so you may as well do both. But if you are tight on focus points for a build, just go with medicine. And leave the other two skills to other people. The thing is, you absolutely do not need a gigantic personal party size. During the mid and late game, you're going to form armies and they will do most of the heavy lifting for you. Not to mention once you get to clan tier 5 and have your own kingdom, you can put policies in place that give you an extra 100 party size without you even having to do anything in terms of skills. Making Stewardship and Leadership more luxury than necessity. Anything over, say, 250 troops and you're looking at a pretty large wage bill if you want high tier troops, and you're going to be very slow on the world map. While both of these skills are nice to have, Leadership especially for the extra clan party, they aren't essential to being successful in a world conquest. Instead, after beating the campaign multiple times, and sandbox a couple of times, I have found it's better to put your efforts into Influence building skills like Charm, Tactics for the inevitable point where you get sick of manually commanding battles (and the broken auto resolve siege defence mechanic), Scouting and Riding for the combination of perks that let you have -100% escape chance for enemy nobles from your party (Scouting is another skill you HAVE to take yourself if you want the good perks to work). These will be much more useful in the long term once you form thousand plus troop armies and your own party size doesn't really matter. If money is an issue and you don't want to go to the dark side of cheesing Smithing, also put points into Roguery for more, better quality loot from battles. In fact, the Cunning line in general is an often overlooked, incredibly powerful set of skills for a mid/late game player.
