I’m noticing that your men are throwing to soon and not hitting their shots. Might be a good idea to have infantry hold fire until the enemy are closer so that those pyla are more devastating

in RBM javelins also do more shield damage then anything. so their job is mostly to break shields.

This mod looks fantastic, but the requirement of RBM is definitely....a choice. I love what RBM does for formations and spears, but it also does things that just feel really really weird too. I mean, my Grandpa shot faster the first time he ever picked up a bow at 85 years old than your trained archers do XD. I like the idea of making armour matter more, but it doesn't feel like that actually works consistently to me. Still incredible mod, I may need to see about tweaking RBM values away from the suggested and see what happens.

There are definitely things that I dislike about RBM too, so I understand. One day they may make it a sub mod but its honestly doubtful at this point.

It may be wise to wait until th emelee starts, flank, and then throw into safe targets - your Throwing Skill is way lower than yor men

So i know im late but i play with rbm and rbm(spear prefered) so if they have a spear they will try to use that as much as possible first iirc

In my opinion archers in this mod are trash, it's better to have infantry with pila. Wait to throw until they are in range and tell them to open fire, the pila should get rid of their shields. Once you get your own throwing skill up there are some good perks that give your men more ammo, armor pen, and shield damage. The pila can really turn a battle if you use them right
