I wonder if not being able to see when Skaven take one of your cities is a line of sight thing? If you don't have a lord or another city see it then you can't tell.

The s in "Geheimnisnacht" is read just like an s should.. as long as the Empire uses the regular German pronunciation rules, of which I have no idea.
