Another interesting tale that I knew nothing of till you told this tale. I had some overlap with being in area's where Hardisty lived as I worked in the Red River settlement, Lower Fort Garry areas in Manitoba, and grew up in Edmonton. I also cut grass on the Alberta Legislative Grounds as a summer job, while Peter Lougheed was Premiere of Alberta. Norm, you and I may have been working there at the same time. This is another tale that I enjoyed being told by Moustached Mountain Guide Norm Bergen.

Jim, it comes as no surprise that a multi-talented gentleman such as yourself is so well travelled and versed in Canadian history! Glad to hear we share some of the same stompin' grounds! Take care, my friend -Norm
