cool performance and great energy in the crowd - gotta love that. Art is 50% creation and 50% appreciation, in my opinion every single person in that throng who let their bodies move uncorrupted by self-conscousness, they were all there making art happen together. Sadly, I've yet to a see a performance from Krule the man himself where he had believably conquered his own stage reservations. He seems like he'll let go for a beat and a half before stopping and making the "I'm thinking about how that looked and what everyone is thinking of me" face. I don't blame him and I'm not hatin', just sending the best good vibes I can muster in the hopes that someday he can let it all go up there.

This whole festival modern concert set up has to go. Now that we all have a chance to start over. Let’s all agree the band doesn’t need to be fifty feet away between barriers and mean muggin dudes just staring straight at you as you’re trying to watch a band. At this point it has to be so much harder for a band to engage with a crowd.
