Amazing, thank you. I've never been there but I've been lucky enough to have been trained by those who were. Respect to all. Both sides.

Thanks a million for making this video showing Mount Longdon in its true glory @Adam. Believe it or not I drew lots of inspiration from this video for my own film about the battle of Mount Longdon on my channel. This video really helped me visualise what my cinematography was going to be like for the film and helped me know what Mount Longdon actually looked like. Kudos to you sir

Hey Paddy, your more than welcome. I don’t think I’ve every inspired anything or anyone before so I’m chuffed! I’ve always had a thing about the Falklands and dreamt of walking Mt Longdon for years. I studied the battlefield many many times to the extent that when I eventually visited I felt I’d been there before. It was totally surreal seeing the areas of the mountain that I’d studied, Full back, the bowl, HMG positions, the places where men were killed etc. I’m going back again February 2022. I would really like the opportunity to see your film when it’s done. Can you tell me anymore about it? When will it be finished?

My respects to all soldiers, argentinians (Company B, 7th Infantry Regiment) and british (3 Parachute Regiment) who died in that terrible battle. May their souls rest in absolutely peace. This is not the place to talk about sovereignty. In this video we must pay tribute, to all those who died for their nation. My respectful greetings from south américa.

@@ant7936 I had a friend who was out there during the war with the Royal Engineers. He told me that his abiding memory was of the cold. Apparently it was as low as -13 centigrade at night. They weren't equipped for the cold, and there's very little shelter so the wind chill got to them. He died from cancer in 2015. RIP Steven Young.

@@WHU63 Yes, I've read the books. Goose Green and 3 Days in June, recommended! Awful conditions, to ask even young men to suffer _and_ fight.
