Great video and it does mount Olympus proud. Climbed it last year, was a dream to stand on the summit. 🇬🇷👍🇮🇪

Looks like fun. And makes you wonder how many other Greeks from thousands of years ago made that same ascent, stood on that same ground.

@@sasmitvaidya The highest mountain in Greece isn't 'most places'. No tourists buses to the top. If you want to experience that view you have to hump it up there just like Greeks thousands of years ago.

Thank you very much to sahre this vieo with all of us. I'm from Brazil and I wanto to hike the Mount Olymps as soon as this pandemia goes over. So, I have a question abou that. Is Litochoro the better city to be the base to explore the mountain? Are two days enough to hike, considering the nigt at the reuge? Thank you.
@TravelingTunas3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I consider 2 days as optimal for the hike if you want to enjoy it, but it is possible to push it in one day as well. Litochoro is beatiful, there are also lot of things to see.

Greeks. Let's pick a mountain that's impossible to climb (at the time) and house our mythical gods there.

Oh yeah thats exactly what we call the mentality of an idiot and Greeks were not so low in their mind. I guess you have no idea of what the Olympus as a symbol means for the ancient Greek religion so its better to stfu.

Beautiful compositions! If I may ask, what Gopro Hero did you use and also what video editor? Thanks for the great hike description!

Thanks, James! I used GoPro Hero 5 camera and Adobe Premiere Pro video editor for this video.

Fab footage. I did this exact climb 10 years ago in virtually the same weather. I've just been talking to my son about doing together and shared your link. We're going to do it this year subject to Covid restrictions. What camera and drone did you use? Ive subscribed 👍

Thanks, Stephen :) I used DJI Mavic air + Go Pro Hero 5 for the footage. Enjoy your trip again ;)

in monastiraki, athens there was this old man sitting on the porch of his antiques shop and he told me that in reality, mount olympus was 5000m high. he was dead serious.
