MOUNT RINJANI via Sembalun Torean Route | Day 1 | Sea of Clouds at Campsite

Conquered one of the most famous volcano mountain in South East Asia, Mount Rinjani 3726m. Special thanks to buddy @mino for organising the amazing hike. As many may already heard of the challenges to face when hiking Mount Rinjani would be the summit day. Especially the stretch close to the peak is the part where you will “hike 3 steps up and glide 2 steps down” due to the loose volcanic ashes and rocks. Nevertheless, anyone should be able to complete it with determined mind. The jaw-dropping views are definitely worth the challenges!

From your hotel driving to Sembalun for one hour while you sit in car cart, what about your waist? oh.. It's best if you spend the night at hotel in Sembalun, because your trekking organizer is from Senaru hmm,.. this forces you to spend the night in Senaru
