Kinda hard to think rationally when your brain's wired up to seek danger as a past time when the vast majority of homo sapiens actively do the exact opposite. It's similar to relying on a parachute to open. Not wise or intelligent. Probably just be more of a challenge in his eyes, or a story to tell when he makes it back (hence the GoPro). This is the first peak of The Chief in Squamish BC. There is no reasonable way down with a bicycle and th3 trails are all considered foot traffic only. The way this guy went is eiter the top of a climbing route, a base jumping spot, or just a spot where many people get turned around.
